Sanskar's POV.
"I hate it when you turn into an animal.. " laksh shouts atop his voice.
"listen to me buddy! That fellow has a very large amount to pay. I know the girl has nothing to do with it. But until she fears me, I have the rope in my hands.... "
He hates to agree, but it's the truth."even then Sanskar, you're not doing good. Don't you like her? "
"shut the hell up!! " Now, it was my turn to shout at him. The mere name of her brought goosebumps on my rough skin.
I regretted shouting at him the next second. He was my little brother. And I didn't want to give up on him because of her."sorry!! " I said at his pouting face.
He smiled."bro, it's okay. But what I said isn't something that you can ignore. " he pointed out.
I sighed. I know, arguing with him doesn't fetch me anything.
"lucky, I'm tired after travelling long way. I'll just have a nap. " I said retiring from the study.
****I entered her room. The room which has been quiet for quite a long time. For about an year and a half. She laid there, with no motion. Drips attached to her delicate little hand. With an emotionless face.
My stomach clenched at her sight. My eyes filled and I hated myself for not being with her on that day. The day when Aadhya lost her parents, on the day, when the cheering little girl of mine, decided not to talk to anyone, residing in a coma state.A tear slipped down my face as I strode towards her. I walked to her right, not disturbing her with my footsteps. I know that doesn't matter. But yet, it's become my habit.
Caressing, her head, I bent down to peck her forehead affectionately. I couldn't stop the tear that fled and landed right on her cheeks. I was going mad seeing her situation. If she was awake, she wouldn't have left me turn into an animal that now I'm. She is too sweet to avenge someone.
But I'm brittle. I'm brittle and broken. Now, I care for no one, unless it is for my family member. I'm not in for the jeopardy."sweetie... " I called her as if she'd listen to me.
"I try my best not to behave hard at Swara. But I can't help. She is his daughter and that's her fault for god sake. I know you just hate how I'm. But you wouldn't know the loss I'm suffering. Leave me, Laksh? He's dying every second seeing you like this. You know how attached he's with you. He just pretends too much that he's happy that his eyes fail his attempts. I can see the pain and feel it, coz you know, I'm suffering the same. It's just too much for us to bear. It was Adarsh and parineetha's death which worked us off and it's the next day it's you who shocked us. Was it necessary to invite such a drought? That bloody fraud had fled abroad to undercover himself."
I grimaced at the thought."But here was his weakest point. His daughter. Now she had to deal with me. I try not to torture her more. But I can't promise you in regard. "
"I miss you so much sweetie. Please get well soon. I'm waiting for you.... Please wake up soon.... " I said and my heart fluttered.
This was really exaggerating to see her lying there unconscious.
I kissed the top of her head and made my way back to my room.
**Reaching the first floor, I unlocked my phone to check if I had any message, moving slowly, my gaze fixed on my phone. I happen to cross by her room. And that was the cutest thing I had seen about her.
She stood there in front of the mirror.... Scolding me.
"you, Sanskar, has grown antlers.... You've become rein deer. " she said with her hands on her head and her index finger popped up.
