~!Chapter - Thirty Six!~

Previously,When I brought Penelope to her room I quickly told Zero to move the blanket out off the way so l could easily put her in bed when I finally placed her in bed I cleaned the side off her mouth something seemed of, I placed my hand on her forehead and I couldn't believe it my hand actually felt like it got burnt,
'Her temperature...this really bad...I need to get father quickly...I can't leave Penelope alone...wait...,'
I looked up at,
Rahkeid"Zero I need you to go and get Father now!,"
Zero nodded his head and quickly went to find father, when I looked at Penelope my eyes widen she was crying and moaning in pain, her eyes started to open she looked at me,
Penelope"B-Big...brother...please kill...me I-I don't want...to suffer...,"
She tried to reach her hand out to me by lifting up her arm, her arm was going to fall down but I caught her hand and held it tightly, Rahkeid"Penelope...everything will be okay...I-I promise you...that no matter what...I will protect you...so please don't ever say something like that again!,"
I could feel it her hand was trembling, I couldn't believe it,
'I hate it when it becomes winter she always ends up with this fever, I hate it why Penelope! Of all people Why Penelope!,'
I could feel it my own hands they were trembling out of fear,
'Oh god I don't want to lose my little sister again no I'm not letting that happen never again!,'

~!Few Hours Later!~

Rahkeid's POV
Penelope was finally stable and resting easy I was glad but something weird happened...
I was sitting next to Penelope I must off fallen asleep when I opened my eyes Penelope wasn't in her bed I quickly saw the door open I quickly woke Zero up and told him to get Father and Eileen he nodded his head, I quickly ran down the hallway while following Penelope, she walked outside it was snowing still she didn't have anything on her feet she was standing in the middle of the garden when she looked back at me my eyes widen slightly she was smiling and had tears down her face and her eyes look dull
,'Oh no!,'
She said something but I couldn't hear it because of the wind, I saw her eyes slowly closing I quickly ran over to as she fell down to the ground, she was panting heavily I placed my hand on her forehead again,
'Her temperature...it's gone back up!,'
I could hear someone running towards us,
Zeref"Rahkeid what happened?!,"I looked over my shoulder at Father and Eileen, Zero was hovering above Penelope with worry on his face, Rahkeid"I-I don't know...all of sudden she got out of bed and walked out here...and her eyes they was dull and she was crying...,"
Eileen eyes widen a slightly,
Eileen"Your Highness please
let me have a look at the Princess...,"
She walked around me and kneeled down beside Penelope, she hovered her hand above her head and her eyes widen,
Zeref"Eileen what's the matter?,"
She looked at my father with a sweat drop down the side of her face,
Eileen"I-It's her memories...they keep changing...messing with her head giving her fake ones!,"
My Father eyes widen as he looked worried,
Zeref"Dammit...we need to get her back inside otherwise her fever will get worse...,"
I picked up Penelope bride-Style and carried her back inside, I carefully placed her down in her bed, as I placed the blanket on her she started to speak in her sleep,
Penelope"I-I...want a... strawberry cheesecake...for breakfast...please big...brother,"
I saw her drooling in her sleep I had a sweat drop down the side of my face and I chuckle a little because how childish it was,
Rahkeid"Sure Penelope...,"
I sighed and I saw her smiling in her sleep,
'Honestly Penelope...you can be such a big kid sometimes...which I find cute about you...,'
I ended up falling asleep beside Penelope in the chair....

~!A Few Days Later!~

Rahkeid's POV
It's been a few days now and Penelope still had this fever, I started to wake up and once again Penelope wasn't in bed I sighed,
'Has she really tryed to get up again,'
I got up and walked out of the room and had a sweat drop down the side of my face, I saw Penelope laying on the ground,
Rahkeid"Let me guess you was trying to go to the library again?,"
I heard her cough and sigh, Penelope"Yeah...I finally admit defeat of walking and ended up staying here...waiting for you to get up...,"
I chuckle lightly as I picked her up and carried her back into her bedroom and placed her back in bed,
Rahkeid"Just tell me what book you want and I'll go and get it you for you alright...,"
She nodded her head at me with a smile, I placed my hand on her forehead,
Rahkeid"Your fever still pretty high...,"
She sighed with a smile,
Penelope"Big brother can I have strawberry cheesecake for breakfast please!,"
I sighed and placed my hand on her head,
Rahkeid"I can't Penelope because you still have a fever and-,"
She grabbed my hand and started pouting,
'I remember when she use to do this when we was kids,'
She was pouting still,
Penelope"Please big brother! You used to do it when we was kids!,"
I sighed, I admit defeat,
Rahkeid"Fine I'll get you some unless you stay in bed got it!,"
She nodded her head at me, just before I was going to leave she grabbed my hand,
Penelope"Can you get a book that you would always use to read to me big brother...,"
I sighed once again and smiled at her, Rahkeid"Sure...anything
for you Penelope...,"
She giggled and had the biggest smile on her face,
Penelope"Thank you big brother!,"
I smiled softly at her, I heard someone knock on the door,
Zeref"I'm coming in...,"
Father walked in with a plate of strawberry cheesecake,
Zeref"I'm guessing you was planning on going to get her some cake for breakfast am I right Rahkeid?,"
I sighed and smiled at him, he walked over to Penelope she still had that silly smile on her face,
Penelope"Yay! I get strawberry cheesecake for breakfast! This is the best day ever!,"
I heard Father chuckling as he sat on the bed and gave Penelope the strawberry cheesecake,
Zeref"Penelope I'm going to ask you something important okay...,"
She had the fork in her mouth and nodded lightly,
Zeref"Do you remember what happened a few days ago at night? You walked outside?,"
She looked really confuse as she looked at me,
Penelope"Big brother what's Papa talking about?*Coughs*,"
She looked back at Father as she was coughing a little, I heard father sigh with relief as he placed his hand on her forehead,
Zeref"It doesn't matter Penelope...and it seems your temperature is starting to go down...,"
She smiled at Father,
Penelope"It's all thanks to this strawberry cheesecake!,"
She was giggling I heard Father sigh with a sweat drop down the side of his face,
Zeref"Penelope I need to tell you something really important now...,"
She smiled at him,
Penelope"What is it Papa?,"
Father looked at her with sadness in his eyes as he placed his hand on her cheek and rub some of the crumbs of her cheek,
Zeref"I will be leaving very soon...,"
Her eyes widen as she stopped eating and her smile disappeared,
Penelope"B-But why! I-I don't want you to leave! Please don't leave!,"
She looked like she was going to cry,
Zeref"I'll only be gone for a little while...,"
She sighed and nodded her head at him as she gave him a smile,
Penelope"Okay Papa I'll be waiting for you!,"
He smiled at as he stood up,
Zeref"Make sure you take good care of your sister Rahkeid...,"
I nodded my head at him, as he left the room, I sighed and looked at Penelope she finished eating the cake and handed me the plate, she was staring at her lap I sighed, we both started to talk about the past about what we was like as children,
'Even though we have her back now...it still feels like a dream but I'm happy...To have my little sister back home and safe...,'
