dear kim,

     what's up? how was your first week? i hope it went well. i'm wondering if you've had enough breaks. i've never seen you on break when i'm there. mark says you go on break only for a little while; he wondered why i was so concerned about you, but i just told him i was simply asking

     today, you seemed more tired than usual, i asked how you were. i wondered if you could detect the concern within my voice.

     you said, "i'm good," then questioned if i was doing alright. i lied and had the same answer as you, knowing i would have been feeling better if i knew you were truly feeling 'good'. i got my usual order and sat at my usual spot.

     someone tried hitting on you and i never knew you we're so witty. the guy's face was priceless! anyways, you smiled at me again; after you completely dissed that jerk.

     you were on a break today, which was surprising. you sat next to me and asked what i was doing. i told you that i was studying english and you seemed interested.

     you smiled a lot. you seemed happy. your break was short and you quickly went back to work after finishing a brownie.

     well, i hope you have more break and i like when you spend them with me.
