A second part of Empty Classroom. Because I can.

I stared at the clock. Tick tock. Tick tock. Only ten minutes left of class, then I can go see my amazing boyfriend and the love of my life. I tap my fingers against my thigh and hum quietly to myself, thinking of him. I get so lost in my thoughts I don't hear Mr. Payne calling me. The kid next to me shakes my shoulder and I hear him then.

"NIALL HORAN!"

"What?" I drop my pen and look around. The whole class snickers while Mr. Payne didn't look amused.

"Is there any particular reason you're staring at the clock instead of me?" He crosses his arms. "I mean, I am teaching."

"There is actually." I glance at the board and see a picture of Albert Einstein and post World War I Europe. "I was staring at the clock because people like Einstein and Jean-Paul Sartre made the point that things like time were entirely man-made. This and the theory of relativity came about after the first world war and introduced people to new ways of thinking."

He narrows his eyes at me and uncrosses his arms. "While you are right Mr. Horan, you need to pay attention. See me after class."

"For fucks sake." I mumble under my breath. The kid next to me laughs and gives me a sympathetic smile.

The next ten minutes pass by without further interruption and Mr. Payne teaches until the very end. I'm scribbling the last of the notes and everyone else starts to leave. I hope to slip out with the crowd, but no such luck. "Mr. Horan?"

"Shit." I swear. More jeering around me as I go back into the classroom.

"Shut the door." He frowns at me. I shut the classroom door and sit down at a desk in the front row, right in front of where he was leaning on his desk. "Mr. Horan, you need to pay more attention to me in class instead of the clock."

"And why should I?" I smirk at him.

His nostrils flare and his frown deepens. "Because your boyfriend should be more important than a fucking clock." Liam hisses at me.

"Li, are you really jealous of a clock?" I laugh.

"No." He blushes.

"Liam, baby, I was thinking about you."

"Well I like it when you stare at me in class." He smiles. I glance out the door's window and see no one in the hallway. I pull Liam by his tie next to the door and kiss him.

"I like to stare at you in class too but in my head you were naked and screaming my name, which is much more preferable than global history."

"Hey!"

"No offense."

"I can't think about you while I'm teaching!" He gives me the most adorable pout. "It's not fair!"

"Now you don't have to think, you can just do." I smirk and kiss him again. I slip my tongue into his mouth and he moans in pleasure.

"No." Liam pulls away. "Niall, I'll meet you at my flat. I have a meeting but I'll be there by half past at the latest, ok?"

"Fine!" I grumble. "Text me?"

"Of course." He gives me one more peck before sending me out of the room. I try to look pissed but can't. I nearly run into my friend Harry and his best friend Louis.

"What's the fire Niall?" He smirks at me.

"I'm pretty sure it's where's the fire, dumbarse." I push him.
