Snowflake

44 3 2

Pure white

Drifting endlessly through the air

Falling closer and closer

To this world

Which lost it's pureness

Yet you cover us

Coat us

In pure white

To hide the fact

That all purity is gone

Cold, white, beautiful

That's what you are

Innocent little naive one

You should have kept drifting

Through the air

Yet even that is no longer pure

We have destroyed this once beautiful world

But thank you

For covering us

For coating us

For letting us believe

That we may once again

Become as pure and innocent as you

My beloved little snowflake
