Lena was standing beside the window watching as people walked by when there was a knock at her door.
"Come in." Lena said. The door open and her assistant walked in.
"A Miss Kara Danvers from CatCo Magazine would like to see you." Jess said. Lena thought that it was odd since CatCo didn't do news stories, but her curiosity was intrigued.
"Send her in." Lena replied without turning around. Jess didn't respond as Kara walked in. Once she was inside, Jess left, shutting the door behind her.
After hearing the door shut, Lena turned around and was awed by a honey blonde haired woman with glasses walking in. She was wearing a pink blouse and a grey skirt.
"Good morning, Miss Luthor." Kara said. Lena went around her desk and walked over to her before responding.
"Good morning to you too Miss Danvers." Lena extends her hand and so does Kara, then they shook hands.
"You're probably wondering why CatCo sent me."
"I must say I'm intrigued, but I'll let you tell me
"CatCo wants to do an article about you taking over your brothers company and renaming it L-Corp. Are you interested?" Kara asked. To be honest, Lena didn't really want to talk to someone she hardly knows about her family, especially her brother.
"Can I think about it?" Lena asked. She hopes that the magazine finds something else to do an article on and forgets about her.
"Of course, but my boss might send me to do another article." Kara replied.
"I understand." Lena said. She told Kara goodbye before shaking hands with her one last time. Then Kara responds with a goodbye of her own before turning around and heading for the door. After she closes the door, Lena can sense that someone is in the room, pushing the recoil under her sleeve a three inch blade shoots out and the same thing happens on the other side.
"I know you're there, now show yourself!" Lena demanded. There was a devilishly laugh before the person Lena hated the most appeared in her her office.
"What do you want? Husband."
