~ Sean Lew ~

"You got it, Sean?" , Bailey asked. She tapped the pen on the counter, staring at me.
She's perfect.

I nodded nervously. "Yeah, I can handle it"

I grabbed a tray of Two Ristrettos and sugar packets on the side. I scurried my way past my other co-workers.

Life can be hard sometimes.

"Excuse me" , I mumbled to the two customers.

I slightly placed the mugs on their table and plopped the packs of sugar beside their coffee.

"Have a good day!" , I yelled, smiling.
Service was a star rule to follow in this shop if we didn't say it we would be fired.

I slide the tray by my side, clenching it with my elbow and rushed my way back to the counter. I lifted the hatch to the back counter and smiled at Bailey.

Bailey had a thoughtful smile on her face. She's beautiful. I didn't know anything about her until now.

I smiled back, placing the tray on top of the counter.

Bailey suddenly laughed at me. I widened my eyes. Why is she laughing at me?. I raised my left brow, scanning the room for any suspicious amusement.

"What did I do?" , I asked. My hands were sweating. I did not know what to do.

Finally, she covered her mouth and pointed behind me with her right hand. I turned around carelessly to see a tray on top of Josh's head.

He was glaring at me, his cold black eyes staring into my soul. Josh wasn't a enemy of mine he was my best friend.

I pathetically rolled my eyes, snatching the tray from his head.

"Dude Stop, you're embarrassing me!" , I muttered, bitterly.

He laughed quietly. Josh is the most aggravated guy in this community.

"Bro, You did that yourself"

I squinted my eyes at him. I swear I placed the tray on the counter or maybe I was too dumb to flash into reality.

I felt a lingered tap on the nape of my neck, disturbing the argument between me and Josh. Without hesitation, I turned around to see Bailey smiling at me.

"It's fine, Seanny" , Bailey laughed. Surprisingly , she pulled me into a big tight hug.

I opened my mouth slightly shocked, she never hugs me.

I quickly closed my eyes, enjoying the moment. I return the warmth back by wrapping my arms around her waist, slowly luring her body closer to mine.

I wanted this to last. Just the two of us hugging behind the coffee counter. I felt loved for once.

"Excuse me?" . I quickly turned my head to the right side to see an old lady staring at the both of us.

I eventually pulled back, missing the touch of her hug. I shake my head, "Yes mam?" , I asked.

She giggled slightly, her elderly voice cracked the second she talked. "Kids these days...falling In love"

I gulped. Did she really thought of that?..
I snapped my head towards Bailey , she was covering her face with her hands.

I chuckled slightly before turning back to the woman. "I don't love her miss.." , I smiled.

She grinned. "Oh?". I nodded at her. She laughed and stuck her hand out.

"I'm Granny Joe... not too fancy son" , Gran smiled at me. Her eyes were like light blue orbs shimmering.

I shake my head. "I'm Sean Lew" , I shook hands with her.

She's quite mysterious I say. Granny Joe was wearing a brown  Blazer, a hazel long skirt and a large brown bag curled around her shoulder.

Her shoes was surprising. It was a steampunk theme. I oddly smiled.

"Oh, Seanny. That's a nice name. What's yours?" , Granny Joe asked. Bailey appeared beside me, our shoulders were touching. Oh god.

"I'm Bailey Sok, Mam" , She smiled sweetly. I loved her smiles. Her one hug and her glorious hair. I would praise her spirit, she's a classic.

"Oh that's common, I love your name!" , She exclaimed. Her eyes were scanning both of us while we stare at her. "Thank you" , Bailey mumbled.

The old lady stared at us, her eyes were stunning to be honest. We just stood there looking at each other until she spoke.

"It was nice to meet you! I guess I'll see you kids later" , She smiled at us before walking out of the building.

"Well that was weird..." , Bailey said, wiping the tables.

It was closing time. The coffee shop was about to shut down. It was only me and Bailey.

Josh had left because I forced him.

"Yeah it was" , I mumbled. I wiped the counters and slightly threw the towel into the sink.

"You know what Lew" , Bailey suddenly spoke.

I turned around, smiling at her.
I would do anything to hear her voice.

"What Sok?" , I smiled. Bailey giggled, walking towards me.

We were inches apart, the counter was the main problem in this scenario which caused Bailey to lean forward.

I lured forward as she leans to my ear. Finally she says it.

"I think you'll be a good boyfriend one day"

That played on my mind for a while now. When I sleep, wake up, and doze. I still remembered what she said.

Does she mean it?.
