Truth

~ Bailey ~

"We need Coffee beans, milk, and cream. Let's start our journey" , I smiled at him.

His smile enlarges, he curled his arm around the handle of the basket, walking beside me.

My heart missed a beat, when I heard him mutter under his breath.

Among the words of. Just the two of us.

I smirked a bit. That was so sweet.

I looked at Sean. He was looking down at the floor, watching our feet step forward one by one.

I nudged his shoulder. His head snapped up so that his eyes meet mine.

"You're right. It's just the two of us" , I chuckled.

I laughed as his mouth opened widely, as if he's shocked and happy at the same time.

He was as cute as I imagined him to be.

"Got it!" , Sean suddenly yelled.

He threw the bag of coffee beans into the basket.

I clapped my hands in response.

"God. I need to learn from you" , I said.

He smirked before winking at me.

"Private lessons? My house?." , He asked me.

I playfully rolled my eyes. I brushed pass him and grabbed the milk from the tray, He's being so childish right now.

It's not that I hate him.

He's a good co-worker and a great friend. He's usually the one who helps me and basically appears out of nowhere if I need someone to talk to.

He's just like a big brother.

"One more. Sweetie" , I teased.

Rolling his eyes. His hand behind his back travels around his body, shoving the last ingredient in my face.

"I had it the whole time. Sweetheart" , He smiled, sweetly.

I let out a giggle, snatching it out of his hands and placing it in the basket.

"I guess I'll leave you..here" , I whispered through the midnight air.

She eventually smiled. Her eyes glimmering as usual, god damn, why does she need to smile at me.

Why can't she see that she's already killing me with that smile.

"Yeah. I'll see you?"

I nodded my head.

All of a sudden.

The door to her house opens, revealing a tall, muscular man standing at the door step.

Bailey turned around. A squeal came out of her mouth as she charged towards the guy and wrapped her arms all around him.

"I missed you, babe!" , She giggles.

"I fucking died when you left" , He teases, snuggling close to her neck, causing her to giggle.

I gulped. Well, this is where...it hurts.

It's like my heart was torn apart. Everytime I see them together, I feel like separating them in a bad...way.

I finally had the strength to lift up my smile and walk away from my weakness.

I guess...I'll see..her.
