"I'm sorry Charlie..."

"What's going on Connor?" I whispered, my voice breaking.

"Brad came to my room and started asking if him and Kirsten could swap for the night. She was asleep, so..." he gestured to himself as he finished explaining.

"Ok, whatever. I'm just tired" I muttered, before climbing back into bed and facing the wall.

I soon felt the other side of the bed dip down, indicating that Connor had gotten in. I couldn't wait any longer, so I silently let the tears out. For what seemed like hours I laid there, sobbing, until I finally fell asleep.

The most annoying sound woke me from my much needed sleep. I turned over to reveal the sound to be emanating from my phone.

"Hello?" I asked groggily.

"Charlie, it's Tris. We have a band meeting, remember?" He sounded worried.

"Oh yea, I'll be there in 5"

I hung up before running to my suitcase and grabbing a pair of black leggings, with a green jumper. I pulled it a on, ran a brush through my hair and made my way to Joe's room.

Upon arriving I knocked, receiving a quick 'It's open' being shouted. I opened the door, immediately causing 7 pairs of eyes to turn towards me. I looked at the eyes that I had grown so accustomed to seeing each morning when I woke up, and gave the owner a small smile, causing him to avert his gaze. A lump formed in my throat, and tears threatened to make themselves known to the people around me. I forced the tears back, put a small smile on my face as I searched for an empty seat.

After locating the only empty seat, I felt my smile waver - for a brief second- before making my way towards it.

"Charlie, how're you feeling?" Joe asked, his eyebrows knitting together.

"Fine, why?"

Before he could respond, a mirror was thrust in my face, revealing a very pale face and dark circles under my eyes.

"Oh, I'm just tired. I didn't get a lot of sleep"

"Ok, let's get down to business" Joe started.

"Ok, so that's song and instruments sorted, now it's just filming" Joe finished, now gesturing to me. We were discussing which of the boys live songs we was gonna film from London tonight.

"Well, I thought we could just go back and do this one really simply. We have a camera on each of the boys and we just film them doing the song and then edited it together" I suggested.

Joe nodded his head in approval. "I guess Dean can film Tris, I'll film James, Kirsten films Connor, and Charlie film Brad."

"No, I'm uncomfortable with that" Brad argued from the seat next to me, offering me a slight glance.

"Ok Brad. Dean, you film Brad and Charlie films Tristan. Meetings over, you can go"

As soon as those words left his mouth, I ran out of the door and to the place I really didn't want to go.
