In The End -Sequel to 'Everything Has Changed'

Not Brown, but Blue

................Charlie's POV................

I didn't realise what I'd said until I heard the door to my room slam closed. I looked up to see shocked expressions all staring back. Sitting on the stool behind me, I put my head in my hands. I soon enough heard movement and looked up to see Tristan walking out the door and Kirsten walking towards me.

"Charlie, are you ok?" Kirsten asked whilst pulling me in for a hug.

At that point I couldn't hold in the tears any longer, so I just let them run freely down my face.

"I...I didn't mean to say it, it just came out. I'm such a horrible person... Oh my god, what have I done..." I stuttered out between sobs.

"No, Charlie it's ok! You didn't say anything wrong, you had every right to say that, ok! He shouldn't have yelled. He was just worried. Where were you by the way?"

"I was buying yours and Brads birthday presents"

"Ok guys, I'm gonna go to bed now" I mumbled through my extremely tired state.

It was only me, James and Tris left, and now we were in their room instead of Kirsten's so she could sleep.

I stumbled out into the hallway and down to my room before opening the door and slipping inside. I expected Brad to be asleep, so I quietly shut the door, before a light flickered on behind me. I turned around to be faced with one very angry looking Brad.

"I'm sorry, I didn't mean to wake you" I offered with a small smile.

"You didn't. I haven't sleep yet. Where were you Charlie? You're cheating on me, aren't you? What's his name? Where does he live?" he raised his voice slightly.

I stepped forward and slapped him, leaving a red handprint across his cheek.

"How dare you! Do you really think that low of me? Do you really think I'm like that? Well Bradley?"

He took a few steps back, before reaching behind him and grabbing something. His bag.

"Looks like you have it all planned out. Go" I told him whilst holding the door open.

Without a word he walked through the door. I shut it behind him before sliding down it, letting the realisation of what I'd done out in the form of tears. After a few minutes I decided to go to bed and sleep on it. I got changed into my Team Bradley t-shirt that I used as a pyjama top and some shorts before crawling into bed. I laid there for what felt like hours, but must've been only 10 minutes, just thinking until I heard the door open. With only one thought in my mind, to make sure that Brad understands that I would never cheat on him, that I love him more than anything, I jumped up and turned to face the door, where I assumed he would be standing.

Except I was wrong. The eyes that stared back were so familiar, but not the deep brown ones I had grown accustomed to seeing. These eyes were blue.
