The Fire Spirit Awakening

'In the land of Kontochi, a kingdom of Kasaiku was well known to be the Fire Spirit's Lair.

Years ago, Legend has said that the kingdom was overrun by chaotic fire chantlers known as the Hokasai.

Their leader, Akushin, a Fire Spirit overlord planned to turn the land of Kontochi to a chaotic land. So he summoned all of his Hokasai and spread them all across the land.'

"Grandpa! Grandpa! What happened next?" A little boy smiled as he looked at his storytelling grandfather who are taking a break from harvesting apples from the apple tree.

"You see, Chrom, we are seeking a true hero to save us from Akushin and his Hokasai." His grandfather face change from his blank look to a more worried look. "Many people tried to fight Akushin, even your father" The old man stopped from the word 'father' cause he doesn't want his grandson to know what happened to his father.

"You mean Dad is a great swordsman too? AWESOME!" Chrom's green eyes widened and his mouth formed a cheeky smile. He placed his left arm on his waist and his other arm pointing at himself. "Don't worry, Grandfather! I'm going to destroy all of Hokasai and defeat Akushin!" He ended his speech with a giggle.

His grandfather pat Chrom's blue straight and wavy short shag. "You are, Chrom, You are." He encouraged his grandson just like his own son did once. 'Pops, Catherine, Chrom! I'm going to defeat Akushin and set freedom to our land!' Chrom's 20 year-old father exclaimed around his family, his wife, his father and his infant son. 'And I will make your future the best one yet, Chrom' He said as he nuzzle his nose on to his son's then to his wife's .

'He's going to have my perfect long blue hair, too!' He said as his fingers run over his blue shaggy hair kinda end near his neck and with a side part that crosses his forehead then to his son's hair.

'He's going to have your perfect green eyes, that will shine through the night' He said as he looked at his wife with so much love. 'He'll sure will, honey.'

"You are just like your father, Chrom! Hehe, Why don't we come inside?" He told his mischievous grandson to go inside the house.

Their house wasn't grand, just a wooden small house found in the middle of a forest near a lake surrounded by Apple trees.

He opened the door and saw his beautiful mother waiting for them for dinner. "Mom! Mom! Looked what we got?" He showed off all the baskets full of apples. "I'm so strong that I helped Grandpa gather all of these!" He bragged and received a kiss from her mother.

"Then, why don't you helped your grandfather selling all this tomorrow." She smiled as she looked at his cheerful little guy. "Glady, Maam! I'm heading to my room to change!" and blasted off to his room.

"He's just like your husband, Catherine. Cheerful, braggy, strong, and full of energy." Chrom's grandfather told him and placed his hand on her shoulder. "I know, It hurts that what happened to him, will eventually happen to Chrom. It already hurts to lose my husband, I don't even know what I'll do if I'll lose my son."

"He'll fine, He's going to get stronger, eventually will become stronger than my son. " He reassured her which made her smile.

The next day, Chrom helped his grandfather selling the apples to the nearby kingdom, Kasaiku.

"Get your fresh apples! It's going to be good for regaining health after a hard battle!" Chrom tried to pursued his customers. Since his adorable face, and his positive persuasion attracted so many customers, they were all lined up to buy his apples. Some of them were mothers, warriors, kids and some even warrior in training!

"Thank you so mu-- opss! " As he was receiving money from a mother, he accidentally bumped an apple and ended up rolling away from the stand.

"I'll get it!" Chrom chased the rolling apple around the square and finally stopped as it reaches an ally. "Geez, You are one fast apple."

"Please don't hurt me!"
