"But long distance relationships are hard, Mark" I sighed into the phone. He was literally the only person I could talk to right now, as Nate would probably not want to hear it. He was still a bit salty about the kiss. "I really like him, but I've never been in a relationship before, and... Ireland is really far away. Even when he finally moves to England. It's still an eleven-hour flight."
"And fifteen minutes." Mark joked. I groaned. I wasn't joking around. Jack would be leaving in a few hours. "Ok, not funny. Got it"
"you most definitely hope you get it, or so help me, Mark" I threatened. he laughed a bit, which made me laugh. his laugh really was contagious. "ok... I'm being serious. stop laughing." he did, eventually.
"Do you want my honest opinion?" he asked. um... yes. was that a joke?
"obviously."
"Alright. well, he really likes you. I know. he does tell me things. And, I think that he really wants to be with you, no matter what. I realise how cliché that sounds, but it's true." he sighed. " Just... at least hear him out."
I sighed. I wanted to, but... everyone knows that long distance relationships never last. And Jack... he's just. how do you explain it?
