Jess' POV

When we got to the lab, I immediately headed for a stool and sat down. Dad looked at me before starting his work. "Don't touch anything," His face quickly changed into a stern look before he turned away.

Bruce entered the room a minute later, but paused when he saw me. "Why is she in here?" he questioned.

Dad answered without looking up. "She promised not to touch anything."

When Bruce looked at me, I smiled widely. "I won't touch anything, Uncle Bruce. I promise."

As he passed me, he placed a quick kiss to my head. "Mm-hmm," he muttered. "I'll believe that when I see you keeping your hands away from everything."

Dad snickered in response. It wasn't even ten minutes later that I told dad I was bored. Sighing, he looked up at me. "You don't have to stay here, honey. If you want to leave, you can."

I only stared at him. After a moment, I spoke up. "Fine. I won't stay here then," Before he could say anything, I was out the door and walking down the hallway. The team was seated in the living room when I got there.

"I thought you were in the lab with your father?" Vision asked, causing the others to look up.

Shrugging, I sat down next to Steve and stole his tablet from him. "I got bored," But before I could even do anything with it, Steve stole it back with a smirk.

"Find something to entertain yourself," he suggested as he reviewed the upcoming mission they would be leaving on tomorrow. "There's plenty for you to do."

I rolled my eyes. "Yeah, like what?"

Clint stood up and held a hand out to me. "Come on, Squirt. I'll let you shoot my arrows."

"Dude, for reals?" I became excited. I had always wanted to learn archery, and now was my chance to do so.

"Yeah, come on," His smile widened. After pulling me up off the couch, he took me outside to the range and handed me his bow. "Ok, if you're going to do this, you have to listen to what I tell you to do," He glanced at me. "I'm serious about this."

I nodded at his words. "I will. I really want to do this, Clint."

With a smile, he stood behind me and guided my arms to the right position. When he was sure I had a tight grip, he let go and told me to release the arrow. I watched excitedly as the arrow hit the target, though it wasn't the center.

"Huh," Clint muttered. "I didn't even think you'd actually hit the target at all."

Though his comment made me a bit annoyed, I smiled anyway. "Let's do it again."

Tony's POV

"Let's not and say we did," I spoke up as I neared Clint and Jess. My daughter met my gaze and her face fell. "Put it down, kid."

"But-" she started to say.

I shook my head. "No, I said put it down."

Sighing, she handed off the bow to Clint, who slung it over his shoulder. "Why can't Clint teach me how to shoot?"

I frowned and placed my hands in my pockets. "Because I said so, that's why. Deal with it."

"Tony-" Clint started, but I only cut him off.

"Honey, go inside. Go talk to Steve or something," I told her, my eyes never leaving Clint's face. When Jess started to refuse, I turned my gaze on her. "Now, Jess." She rolled her eyes and walked away, and I knew she was angry with me. But that would have to be dealt with later.
