Sometimes we just want to float lanterns high in sky as a sign of letting go the past but deep down we all know it's not worthy at all, we all know that no matter how hard we try to let go the past, or to let go the things which binds us with the chains we can't free us from them because at the of the day sometimes those things only can give you a reason to survive like when every other person has make sure of it that you die in agony.

• Sometimes pain is the best friend you have as it stays with you when everyone else has left you behind.. •***
Nandini is wide awake in his bedroom while he is sleeping peacefully. Even in the mid of night, sleep is far away from the doors of her eyes. She is recalling the events took place in her life one week ago, It's been a week or so with him but she is still there holding on to that fragile string which may break anytime soon.
She looked at him and snuggled into him, he stirred in his sleep but a smile crept on his lips as soon as she placed her cheek on his bare chest right above his heart, she can feel every beat he takes and every breathe he inhales and exhale. All she wonders right now that how she is going to grab all her courage and look in his eyes, when she knows he is the only one who can make her feel most alive even on her death bed.
She closed her eyes and recalled that moments took place after their passionate encounter a week back..
(Flashback 1 week ago)
Manik : "Does that change your perception?"..he asked while he was still inside her, she giggled at his question.
Nandini : "Mr. M my perceptions are hard to change. But you tried and I appreciate it.."..she answered boldly which instantly made him laugh and she got lost in his breathtaking smile..
After a long time, they both laid back and he took her closely to his chest, the whole room is filled with their heavy breathing, she placed her head on his chest and closed her eyes, he smiled unknowingly it seems like she has unveiled his good side. He kissed on her head and started stroking her hair, don't know when she drifted into deep slumber while he was humming some soulful melody to her without even realizing that this helped her sleep peacefully. And soon he too slept.
After some time she felt her phone is vibrating somewhere in the corner of room, she stilled in her deep slumber while he is sleeping like he is sleeping for the first time so peacefully. She groaned in frustration when that vibrating sound keep on honking in her ear drums.
Nandini : "What the..."..she cursed in half awaken voice and opened her eyes only to listen his small soft snoring sounds and the irritating voice of her cell phone.
She sat back on the bed and then found his shirt lying near the bed on the floor, she picked it up and wore it without any hesitation as if she is claiming what's hers. She stepped out and followed the sound of her phone while Manik is in deep slumber totally oblivious of his surroundings.
She finally found her phone lying near the door and she clearly remembers she dropped it there when he suddenly kissed her passionately. She picked the phone and walked out of the room in the corridor and answered it instantly.
Nandini : "This better be important."..she said in her ever so evil tone with a pinch of frustration mold in it perfectly.
Sahir : "Well! Darling it's really very important but you look so feisty right now."..he played along like always which made her roll her eyes.
Nandini : "Don't give me this crap okay, tell me what I need to know or put the phone down.."..she answered in utter frustration which alarmed him as he knows very well that messing around her that too in her worst mood is going to lead him straight on the hospital bed.
