Old Friends New Drama Part 2

*Time Skip*

Today me and the guys are leaving for tour. I'm so excited! I was bringing my last three bags in the bus while the rest of the band was already chilling. I sat down, thinking about how my life would change over these past six months. I knew it was going to be interesting and praying it won't be too dramatic. Sooner or later the bus started moving and we were on our way to the first show.

A few hours passed and everyone was sleeping except Denis and I. I was on the couch scrolling through twitter. "Long drive huh?" Denis walked up to me and handed me a cup of water.

"Yeah. Thanks," I took the water. I took a sip.

"Ever been on tour before?" Denis asked and sat down next to me.

"Uh no, but i've been to warped tour," I giggled.

"That doesn't count," Denis laughed

I laughed, "That's the closest I've been to being on tour besides now." I went on Instagram and saw that Danny posted a photo.

"I'm assuming you and Danny were good friends while he was still with the band," Denis looked over my shoulder to look at Danny's photo.

"Yeah... Friends..." I bit my lip.

"Are you okay? You've been biting your lip a lot lately," Denis mumbled.

"I'm fine. I've just been thinking a lot," I looked at him, "And biting my lip is a habit."

"Oh... What's on your mind?" Denis asked.

"Uhh a lot..." I said, "I don't really want to get you involved with me and the band's background... You're new and I still have to get used to Danny not being around." Denis looked down.

"I understand..." Denis mumbled and nodded his head "we should be going to bed anyways it's going to be a long day tomorrow," Denis stood up.

"You're right," I stood up and walked to my bunk. My bunk was above Ben's. To my surprise I noticed it was also across from Denis's bunk also. I grabbed my PJs and walked to the bathroom to get changed. I walked out of the bathroom and saw a shirtless Denis climbing into his bunk. I blushed at the sight of his skinny, muscular, tattooed body. Denis smiled at me and went under the covers. I looked down. I climbed into my bunk. My phone buzzed. Danny message me on Instagram. He must of saw that I liked his photo.

Danny: Hey, I noticed u liked my photo :) haven't heard from u in a while

Me: Hey Danny, it was a nice photo I had to like it :)

Danny: Lol, I heard you're on tour with the band. How is it so far?

Me: It's good... I miss u

Danny: I miss u too ;)

Me: :)

Me: Denis is so different compared to u. Have u met him before?

Danny: Yeah, I have he's actually a cool guy. Wants to follow his dream. I like that as a former band member myself.

Danny: When you get to know him better though, you'll love him

Me: As a friend of course :b

Danny: Yeah, yeah as a friend... That's what they all say ;) ;)

Me: Danny trust me. Me and Denis are just friends.

Danny: Okay, y/n believe your words now but trust me. By the end of this tour you and Denis will either like each other more than friends or will be dating each other.

Me: Danny, I'm not the same girl I was two or so years ago

Danny: Yeah... I've figured. I know we used to be a thing but if you do end up liking Denis- or anyone else don't be afraid to tell me

Me: ... I gotta go to bed... i'll text you whenever...

Danny: Okay ... night :)

Me: Goodnight Danny

Denis was still awake and he noticed me texting someone on my phone. I put my phone aside and fell asleep.

The next day

Me and the guys arrived at our first destination. Dallas, Texas. Sam jumped out of the bus and yelled "Yee haw!" And jumped around. I laughed as me and the rest of the guys walked out of the bus.

"Whoo it feels great to be walking on land again!" Ben exclaimed.

"Yeah! I-" Denis started. He got cut off by Sam who grabbed him and threw him on his back. Everyone laughed as Sam ran around while Denis was laughing on his back.

"You boys never changed," I giggled.

"We really haven't," Sam yelled from a distance. I laughed.

"Well I got to set up the merch stand. See ya!" I said as I walked away. When I found my spot, I heard fangirls talking about Denis a few steps away. I didn't mind much. That's if my name wasn't mentioned in the conversation.

"I can't believe Denis is crushing on that y/n girl," I heard a fangirl say. I continued unpacking AA merch but I kept listening.

"Yeah didn't they just meet?" Another girl said.

"Yeah, but from the way he was talking about her on his Instagram live earlier, he sounded like he was injected with a love potion." No way... Denis loves me? He can't. That must be a lie. I kept unpack merch. My phone buzzed. Danny texted me.

Danny: Hey y/n I miss the sound of your voice... Imma call u <3

He called me. I didn't answer.

Me: I'm working i'll call you after the show

I continued to unpack merch.

A few hours later...

I finished setting up my merch.. I took a breath of relief and put my hands on my hips. The guys walked up to me "Looks great y/n," Ben exclaimed and looked at the tent.

"Thanks!" I smiled

"How long do you guys have until you have to be back to the stage?" I asked and placed my water bottle down on the table.

"About a half an hour" Sam smiled.

"Are you guys nervous?" I asked.

"I know I am," Denis mumbled.

"You'll do great Denis! Trust me," I hugged him. We both smiled. The boys were trying not to laugh at our hug. I assumed they were with Denis when he was doing his Instagram live thing. When me and Denis let go of each other people started to come up to the merch stand to take pictures with the band and buy stuff from me. I sold a bunch of posters, CDs, shirts, jackets and a lot more. Before I knew it more and more people were showing up to buy more stuff. I was running out of a few items. The guys ran out on stage and started playing. I immediately heard Denis singing I won't give in. I smiled and watched him sing. he's really talented... maybe Danny was right, maybe he is a cool guy I softened my eyes, still looking at Denis Wait! What?? I widened my eyes "I-I'm not falling for Denis... I can't be!" I whispered to myself.
