"Come on Happy, let's just get this over with." Gray said as he looked over at the blue cat. Happy just nodded and followed Gray off of the train. "Aye, lets go." Happy said while looking down at the ground in sadness. Gray just sighed as Happy went past him. "You have changed a lot since then." Gray said as he walked after him.
Somewhere in Hargeon, a beautiful blonde was arguing with a old man. "Come on, just lower it another 1,000 jewels. Please, you handsome man you." She said as she leaned toward him. "Okay, how about 999 jewels." the man said with a smile. The girl just stared him, until she sighed and took out the money. "Ugh, fine. You win." She said handing over the money and taking the key from him.
"Seriously! Am I only worth 999 jewels?!? That trick usually works." She said walking off from the magic shop. "Now, how will I get out of this town with barley any mo-", "Aaaahhhh, It's Salamander!!!" a girl yelled as she ran across from the blonde. "Salamander? Wait, he's still around!?!" She said as she ran after the girl. "When was the last time He was brought up?"
Not that far away, Gray and Happy was walking down a alleyway. "That job was way to easy. I beat that guy in like two seconds." Gray said with his hands behind his head. "I guess." Happy said, still looking down at the ground. Gray just looked down at Happy with a sad look. They stayed like that until they heard someone shout, "It's Him! Salamander!". "Sala- Natsu!!!" Happy yelled as he went flying off toward where a huge crowd was. "H-Happy!!! Wait!!" Gray yelled as he chased after the cat.
'That's him?' Lucy thought as she looked at the guy. 'I thought he would be more handsome, and younger.' she thought as she just stared blankly at him. Suddenly, she heard a yell from the opposite side of the crowd. "NATSU!!" yelled a flying blue cat. When the cat saw the man, his smile immediately dropped. "Your not Salamander." he said with less enthusiasm. The man looked shocked when he said that. "Yes I-", "Happy! Don't run o-, who are you?" a raven asked when he saw the man. "I am the almighty Salamander!" He said as he did a pose. Only to pale when he saw the man and cat walk away. "DON'T IGNORE ME!!!" He yelled after them. Then his fan girls all growled and tackled both of them.
Lucy just stood as she watched. 'He's such a disgrace.' Lucy thought as the girls came running back to him. "Geez, I can't believe people other then Erza can hit that hard." the man said as he massaged his jaw. "I guess." the cat said as he got up, but with a straight face. "Besides, I don-", "Don't Say It Gray!!!" the cat said. Suddenly, both of their stomachs growled. "How about we get some food." the raven said as he got up from the ground. "Mind if I join you?" Lucy said as she walked up to them. Both the man and cat looked up at her, and with a straight face said "Who are you?"
At a cafe, a boy, cat, an girl all sat at a table eating quietly. "Sorry to just pop up back there. I'm Lucy, who are you two?" Lucy asked as she looked at the boy and cat across from her. "It's fine. And i'm Gray, this guy here is Happy." Gray said as he pointed from himself, then pointed at Happy. "Hi." the cat said as he continued to eat slowly. "Happy? Why are you named that?" Lucy asked the cat. "Because I Am!" Happy snapped as he looked up at her. "Excuse me." he finished as he got up and flew off into the bathroom. "What was that about?" Lucy asked. "It's nothing you need to worry about. It's a personal problem." Gray said as he looked down at his food. "Oh... well, I think he should at least act a little nicer." Lucy mumbled under her breath. "I know." Gray said as he stopped eating all together.
"Well, i'll see you later Gray. Let me just pay, and i'll be out of your way." Lucy said as she got up and walked off to pay. "Thanks for paying." Gray said with a small smile on his face.
After gets invited to the party
"Man, wasn't that girl nice Happy? Makes you kinda want to smile." Gray said looking hopefully at the cat. "I guess." was all that Happy responded with. Gray let out a small sigh and diverted his attention away from the cat. 'How long are you going to be like this? It's been 2 years.' Gray thought as he glanced at the cat again. Suddenly, Gray and Happy heard two girls talking. "Can you believe that Salamander is here? Of all places, he's here!" one girl said to the other one. "Salamander?", "Yeah, Fairy Tail's Salamander!" the girl responded to her confused friend. When Gray and Happy heard that, they stopped in their tracks. "Fairy Tail's... Salamander?" they said together.
"I CAN'T BELIEVE YOU!!! How Can You Do This!?!" Lucy yelled as she looked at the man in front o her. She was being held back by two of his henchman. "Because I can do this." Salamander said as he looked over at her. "Lets start by getting rid of these." he said as he picked up Lucy's key chain. On the chain was keys, three gold and three silver. When he looked them over he mumbled the names under his breath, and once he was done, he threw them out into the ocean. "No!!" Lucy screamed as she tried reaching for them.
Then, the roof broke as Gray came crashing in. "Thanks for the warning Cat!" Gray yelled up at the flying Happy. "Sorry." Happy said with a monotone voice. "Gray!! What are you doing here?" Lucy yelled as she recognized the faces of Gray and Happy. Suddenly, Happy flew down and grabbed Lucy and flew her out. "Wait! What about Gray!" Lucy said as she looked down at him. "He's fine. He's one of the best wizards in the guild." Happy said as he flew off with her. "Wait! He's in a guild!?!" Lucy shouted at the cat. "Lucy, my transformation is up." Happy said as his wings disappeared into thin air. "WHAT!?!" Lucy screamed as she fell into the ocean.
When Lucy landed in the ocean, she saw her keys glimmering in the sea. Happy followed her as she swam up to the oceans surface, and landed on her head when they emerged. Back on the ship, Gray was making ice shields to fend off the attacks. "A ice wizard are you? To bad you can't use attacks unless you want to risk destroying this boat." Salamander said as he watched Gray try to keep his shield up. "Fairy Tail's Salamander? Why are you imitating my best friend?" Gray asked as he put more force in his shield.
Suddenly, a giant whirlpool picked up the boat and sent it flying onto the beach. Almost killing the people who were on that beach. "What Was That For!?!?!" Lucy's voice came from the dock of the boat. After a while of recovering, Lucy came running into the room with Happy following her. "I only came because that creep said I would get into Fairy Tai- Gray!" Lucy said to cat that she was walking with. She shivered when she saw how angry Gray was. "Now answer my question. Why. Are. You. Imitating. My. Best. Friend!!" Gray shouted as he put his hands together. "Yeah!! Why are you pretending to be him!?!" Happy yelled after Gray.
"To attract women. He was a famous wizard, why not use him for a cover up?" Salamander asked. Gray just made a even more deadly glare as he stared at the man with pure hatred. "Ice Lance!" Gray said as he fired ice missals at the man. When the attack was done, Salamander appeared and fired purple fire at Gray. It hit, but all Gray did was laugh. "You will never be the real Salamander if your fire is this weak." Gray said as he froze the fire still. This shocked all the man. But Gray wasn't done yet, he lunged at them and attacked them.
Lucy just stared in awe as she watched him fight. "Wow,he's amazing." Lucy said. "He's okay. To bad he's not even trying." Happy said as he watched them. "What do you mean by 'Not even trying'?" Lucy asked as she looked down at the cat. "Gray's done at lot better then this. When he use to fight with his 'best friend', he did a lot more damage and more force in every attack." Happy explained, "Gray is actually part of the Fairy Tail guild. The proof is on his chest."he said as he pointed at Gray's now bare back. Sure enough, he wore the Fairy Tail guild mark on the right side of his chest. "When did he become shirtless?" Lucy asked. "Don't know, that actually happens more then you think." Happy said, as if it was the most simplest thing in the world.
Once Gray was done taking care of them, he heard the magic council coming. He grabbed Lucy by the hand and jumped off the boat with her. "WHERE ARE YOU TAKING ME!?!" Lucy screamed as she was being dragged after Gray. "I thought you said you wanted to enter Fairy Tail?" Gray asked over his shoulder. Then he looked over his shoulder and smirked at Lucy, "So, come with me and Happy to the guild."

A/N:Doghawk1 here, with some more of this book. I'm not sure if you people like this, but I think i'm doing a pretty good job. What do you think about Happy? He's actually very different isn't he? Next chapter we will see how different Lisanna is, but if you think I will do any spoilers, then your Wrong!!
