"Okay, let's see if I understand this. You want me to teach you transformation magic?" Lisanna asked Nathan, as they sat in the forest outside of the town. "Yup! I need it for this job I'm on." Nathan replied with a smile that neither Lisanna or Happy could see. "And what is this job?" Happy asked suspiciously. "Can't tell ya, sorry. But's not something evil or dangerous, I just need to gather information while in disguise." Nathan stated, still with a smile in his voice.
"Well, I suppose that I can teach you a little, if it'll help." Lisanna said, only for Happy to fly over to her ear and whisper, "I don't trust this guy-", "I can hear you, ya know." Nathan interrupted before Happy could finish his statement to Lisanna.
Both of them looked over at him in shock, mainly because Happy had been so quiet that Lisanna could barely hear him to begin with. The man just shrugged his shoulders at their gazes. "The magic I have currently helps with my senses." Nathan explained to the two. "If you have such good hearing, why not just spy on this job? Why do you need to know transformation magic?" Happy accused towards the man, only to again receive a shrug in response. "People won't talk about what I need to hear on their own. The subject has to be brought up, and I need the subject to be brought up before my 'Body Guard' catches up to me." Nathan told them while doing air quotes around the word Body Guard.
"So, that guy you were talking about doesn't want you to do this?" Lisanna asked him. "Well, kind of. He doesn't want me to talk to anybody, just use my senses to tell if someone is lying... or something like that, he never really told me. Not to mention it's My mission, not his!" He finished talking while releasing an exasperated groan from his throat. "So... is he actually your babysitter?" Happy asked while looking over at the man with a raised eyebrow. "Basically, yeah. Just please never actually say to his or my face again." Nathan requested. "So, will you teach me?" He asked again while looking over towards Lisanna.
Lisanna looked between Happy and the stranger, before letting out a sigh. "I'll teach you the basics on how to change your appearance. But I'm afraid that's all I can do for you now." Lisanna told him, and Nathan responded with an over-eager nod of his head. "Perfect! Just teach me how to transform into... a girl for now, then you can teach me how to change my hair and eye color!" Nathan responded, back in the voice that sounds like a smile would go with it. "Wait, a girl?! Why do you need to know how to transform into a girl?" Lisanna asked with wide eyes. "The place I'm going too is a bar, and people tend to open up more quickly if your a pretty girl!"
Lisanna couldn't find any fault in his logic and decided to give up on asking questions to begin his teaching. They started with him becoming familiar with a women body. While that made Lisanna extremely uncomfortable with a man just intently studying her figure, it also made Happy extremely unhappy. He still didn't trust this man and wanted him to stay away from Lisanna. But if Lisanna decided to help this man, than he would simply have to stay right beside her and watch the man's every move. After a while of helping the man understand how exactly to use transformation magic, as well as helping him understand just where exactly women bodies curve and begin, Lisanna decided Nathan should try to turn just his body into a women's.
As Nathan concentrated, he made sure his mind focused on how to look as a girl. And with as much magic as Lisanna told him he should use to be able to do it, he successfully turned his body into that of a women, shocking both Lisanna and Happy for getting it on his first try. "H-How did you do it so quickly?" Lisanna asked with wide eyes, only for Nathan to shrug again. "I've always just been able to use magic easily. My brother says it's because I'm more connected to the Ethernano of the world than most people." Nathan replied, like it was the simplest thing in the world.
"You have a brother?" Lisanna asked, finding out that they have at least something in common. "Yup, one older brother! To tell you the truth, I didn't even know he existed until like ten years ago or something? I honestly don't remember." Nathan said with another shrug. "So! how did I do?" He continued with a question, while turning to completely face Lisanna. "From what I can tell, it's perfect. But if I could see your face, I might be able to tell you if you got it perfectly right." Lisanna said while walking toward him and reaching for his hood.
