Chapter 9: on the outside

Geno: "who are you and what did you do to my brother!?"
Sugar: "who?"
Geno: "error! And for that matter, blue and his friends too. I know you had something to do with it so spill."
Sugar: "oh! Hmhmhmhm. So that's why you're so upset. But don't worry friend, they're all right here."
Sugar outstretched his arms as if signaling a hug. And started to advance towards geno.
Geno: "g... get away from me!"
Sugar: "oh what wrong pal? I'm not going to hurt ya. Far from it."
(Snap)
With a single snap of his fingers, strings of red licorice wrapped around geno, tying him up and lifting him in the air by a few feet.
Geno: "error!?"
Sugar: "heh. Not exactly. It's his body. However, the error you know is with me."
Sugar put his hand toward geno. Summoning out his soul with a dark smirk on his face.
Sugar: "and soon so will you. Now hold still friend, this won't take long."
Geno: "no! Stop! Get away from me!"

Genos POV:
I woke up at night on the snow covered ground. Music blaring from a nearby house as someone stood over me.
Geno: "error!"
Error: "hay bro. Welcome to the party."
He offered me a hand up, which I took, hugging him tightly as soon as I was on my feet again.
Geno: "I was so worried about you. Are you ok?"
Error was taken aback for a second but then nodded as we pulled apart. Glancing back at the house that was seemingly having some sort of party.
Error: "I'm fine. So... care to join the party?"
Geno: "party?"
Error: "blues birthday."
Geno: "blues here! Who else is here."

Paps POV:
I took a couple puffs of smoke outside as I saw the glitch heading over with a familiar face.
Paps: "hey! Geno! Long time no see!"
He waved back over with a wide grin as he recognized me. Running over from beside error.
Geno: "hay. What's up."
Paps: "a sky full of stars tonight. Definitely my favorite part of this place."
Geno looked up at the sky to confirm that there actually where stars above him and not just the cave crystals he was used to in his au. It reminded him a bit of outertale. He glanced back at error who was equally transfixed by the sight.
Geno: "where are we?"
Paps: "from what I could tell, a different dimension altogether."
He nodded back at me as I led him inside to the party. But error stayed behind.
Paps: "heh. Coming glitch?"
He sighed as he shook his head no. Starting to walk away from the house.
Error: "nah, I'm going home. I've had enough excitement for one day."
I shrugged as I headed inside. Splitting us three ways as geno just stood at the door.
Paps: "don't worry, you'll get used to things around here pretty quick. Try not to stress over it too much."
Geno: "mhm."
