Chapter 12

When I woke in the morning, Tyler was no longer here. It made me a little sad that he left before I woke up. 

When I got up I put on a blue flannel, jeans and my white Converse. I put my hair into a messy bun and walked downstairs. 

In the kitchen, Tyler was making something at the stove, "Where's your parents?"

He turned around and smiled at me, "They went to say goodbye to my grandpa."

I sat at the island,"Okay, whatcha cooking?"

He turned around with some pancakes on a plate,"Pancakes, duh."

I chuckled, "Okay, so what time will they be back?"

"In a little bit, they wanted us packed and ready when they get back, so you might wanna do that when you're done eating."

I nodded my head and started eating. Tyler took the seat by me. I cleared my throat,"So, what happens when we go back.."

"Well.. You break-up with Ken, and we go on some more dates."

I scoffed, "It's Kyle, and I don't know.. I mean seriously, do you think me and you will work out..?"

"Ains, your a great girl, I bet we can make it work."

I sighed, "But I can't fill your needs like those 'other girls'.."

I turned my face towards him, " Ainsley, I don't need you to do that when you're... You. You're exactly what I want. That's all."

I smiled and leaned forward lightly kissing his lips. Call me crazy but after this trip here, I can actually see myself with Tyler. 

"Thank you Tyler. Your not what I thought you were.."

"And what was that..?"

"I don't know, an arrogant, jerk face, player who doesn't give two shits about a girl unless she's willing to be your toy for the night."

He put his hand over his heart and faked hurt, "Ouch Ains, that hit me hard."

I laughed, "Well, I better go pack. I'll be down in a bit."

He nodded his head and I walked upstairs.

While packing, I started thinking.

What if people found out I was with Tyler, while dating Kyle.. What would they think..

Tyler's great, I never thought he would go for a girl like me. Unless, it's just a gimmick to get into my pants. He wouldn't do that, would he? Whatever. 

After packing, I went back downstairs and Tyler's parents were already down there. Marcy was carrying her bags to the car, so was Mr. Martin. 

Tyler was sitting on the couch texting on his phone, "Whatcha doin?"

He shrugged, "Just got an invite to a party tonight, you wanna go?"

"I don't know, I've never been to one."

He smirked, "Then let me take you to your first."

I nodded my head, "Sure, sounds okay."

After inviting me to the party Tyler's parents showed up and we drove home. When we got there I decided I had to talk to Kyle..So I called him. 

*Ring*

*Ring*

"Hello?"

"Hey Kyle.."

"Ainsley! Are you back yet?"

"Yeah we just got back home, can we meet at the mall or something, to talk?"

"Yeah sure, meet you there in 10?"

"Sounds good."

I went downstairs and out into the driveway. I got into my baby and drove to the mall.

When I got there Kyle was sitting at one of the tables in the food court. When he saw me he stood up and gave me a hug, "Ainsley, it's so good to see you."

"I missed you Kyle" Lie, i didn't really miss him with Tyler keeping me company.

"I missed you too, so what do you want to talk about..?"

I sucked in a breath, "Well, I- I want to break up."

He frowned, "Oh.. Okay, if that's what you want. Can I just ask why?"

"Well, the feelings aren't like that I guess, I mean having you as a friend would be great."

He nodded, "Okay, yeah, I guess that's fine."

"Bye Kyle" 

"See ya Ainsley" 

I then left the mall and went home, to see Tyler.

Sorry it's short! Ugh. I've been so busy. I want to update more but I can't find the time. Anyways, sorry for taking so long. 

Also, I have this band I am absolutely obsessed with, The Summer Set, and like listening to this bands music while reading is like eating Nutella. If you want some song suggestions by them messege me ^_^ also Watsky is an awesomeeeeeee Rapper.
