Hiccups POV
These two guards lead me through the place up and down steep stone steps until we finely reached a pair of huge doors. A buff guard knocked quickly on the door and pushed it open.
"Queen Elinor. King Fergus! May I introduce Hiccup Horrendous Haddock III, heir to the throne of Berk and son of stoick the vast!" He said quickly.
The Queens face lit up and she stood up followed by the king.
"Hiccup it's an honour to see you again" She said scurrying over to him and embraced with her twig like arms.( I haven't watched brave so sorry if I describe them wrong).
"It's my honour to see you your majesty's!" I said bowing. King Fergus chuckled.
"No need for that lad. We are old friends! Now where is merida!"
"call for the Princess please!" Elinor said gesturing to the gaurds who were hurrying out the room.
Minutes late they walked back in.
"My king and Queen. She is here" stepping foward was a girl around my age with wild ginger hair. Merida had defently got cuter over the years!
"Hiccup it's so good to see ya again!" She squealed and hugged me. I returned it smiling.
"You to merida!! How have you been?" I said grinning madly. I think she blushed a bit but it's kinda hard to tell with her hair!
"Oh I've bin great! Ya got taller than me hicc. Oh I've got somethin to show ya!" She grabbed my sleeve and dragged me up to her huge room.
Franticly she sherched around her shelves muttering to herself.
"Aha found it!"triumphantly held a partly ripped peace of paper looking closer I realised it was a picture.
"Oh my Thor!" The picture was of me and merida when we were younger. We were sitting on the beach together. At the top in messy writing was the word merricupp.
"You've kept this...all these years?" I gasped.
"Yes I have!"
Astrids POV
I can't believe hiccup! He blew me off in our anniversary! That's just an amazing boyfriend there. I shouldn't be too hard on him, he Is under alot of pressure with becoming chief and all.
"Hey astrid!" Said a voice behind me. I turned around frowning.
"You all right lass?" Great it's stoick I thought it was hiccup.
"Of course chief. Anything you need?" I said forcing a fake smile.
"Yes one member of the tribe has returned after years of travelling.
"James?" I said excitedly. He nodded his head. I couldn't believe it. Back while we were fighting dragons I was best friends with a guy called James. Then he and his family went travelling and well let's just say I was heart broken when he left.
Without another word I ran towards the docks, Stormfly not far behind! Just coming out of a boat, a tall man with short blond hair was gathering his stuff.
"JAMES!" I shrieked and sprinted to him. He looked up and he grinned. He open his arms and I tackled him.
"Astrid! Long time no see!" I giggled a bit. He got up nada offered me a hand. I gratefully took it.
Time skip
Snotlouts POV
I walked into the great Hall nd wandered over to my friends.
"Hey guys!" I said while sitting next to ruff.
"Hi" Said everyone but astrid. Then I noticed the guy next to her.
"Hey James!"
Suddenly the Hall doors swing open and in walked hiccup and toothless. He was walking over to us and astrid hadn't even noticed.
"Hey! Astrid?" He said confused. He tried to slip in between astrid and James and succeed until astrid got up and went to James other side.
Hiccups POV
"Astrid?" She completely ignored me. After 5 minutes I'd had enough. I grabbed her arm and drah5her out the Hall ignoring her protests.
"What's up with you?"
"I could say the same thing!"
"What?" What was she on about.
"You blew me off on our anniversary! Oh and here is your present!" She said placing it in my hands.
"Who's the guy"
"Oh don't worry that's just James. Do you remember him?" She asked happily.
Oh no James is back.
Flashback
"Hey look the little runt over there can't even lift this axe!" James smeared picking the axe up one handed. Astrid and the others howled in laughter.
"Come on guys let's go!"
