NOTE: I know it's short, but it's allowed to be. It's an epilogue :P

ϟ Epilogue

My sixth year at Hogwarts was finally over. There had been many ups and downs, but it had ended on a sort of a neutral level. The rumours that had been going about school for the last couple of days were true, Lord Voldemort was back and Professor Moody was actually Barty Crouch Jr. Most people didn't believe Harry and Cedric, but I did. I would always believe them. I trusted Cedric and the injuries he had gained from being put under the Cruciatus Curse was enough to instantly make me believe him.

It was going to be odd next year, when everything was going to be back to normal again, well, except for the NEWTs. I had run into Fleur before the Beauxbatons students left. She had tried to give back my scarf, but I insisted that she kept it, so she could stay warm during the Winter.

Now Cedric and I were making our way down to the Hogwarts station in our Muggle clothes, talking about if we could meet up over the summer holidays. We were talking about possible dates and times, when someone came running up behind me. It was Cho.

"Hi there." She chirped.

"Hello, Cho." I replied. Cedric offered her a kind smile.

"Guess what. Rumour has it that Hermione Granger, Harry Potters friend y'know, her. Yes, well, she apparently has caught Rita Skeeter at last. You wont believe what Rita Skeeter is." Cho said, looking very excited.

"Catch her? How did she do tha-" Cedric started, but I cut him off.

"Shh, Cedric. Go on, Cho. What is Rita Skeeter, besides a liar and an overall disgusting and awful human being?" I asked Cho, who grinned broadly.

"Well, Harry and Ronald Weasley suspected 'bugging', but you know electricity wouldn't work within Hogwarts. Cedric, the stuff that powers things. Muggles use it, anyway, Hermione extended this research and it turns out that that Skeeter woman was bugging, but not in the sense you would think. Believe this or not, but Rita Skeeter is an illegal Animagus!" Cho said, "Her Animagus is a beetle! She is literally bugging people!" Cho then exclaimed, clapping happily. My jaw dropped and Cedric's eyebrows had shot upwards into his hair.

"Is she? Really? My goodness, just wait until Witch Weekly find out about this!" I exclaimed. Cedric nodded enthusiastically from beside me. We reached the station and the Hogwarts Express pulled up, the steam billowing over the heads of the students. We all heaved our animals and trunks onto the train and chose a compartment. We put our luggage up onto the racks (with much teamwork) before the three of us collapsed onto the comfy seats. I sat next to Cedric and Cho sat opposite us. She beamed at the two of us.

I lifted my feet onto the seat, got The Standard Book of Spells: Grade 6 out and leant my back against Cedric's side, who draped his arm around my shoulder, before opening my book and continuing to read. I had memorised the whole book, now. I always knew which sentence came next, but I always enjoyed reading it.

Cho and Cedric talked about Quidditch as the train set off. Soon, Hogwarts disappeared behind us and we sped towards London. I was excited to see my mother and father after a long yet eventful year. I wondered if my father's football (soccer) team had won any matches and if my next door neighbour's rabbit had died yet after choking on a carrot. I was excited to go to home, but I would always be counting down the days to get back to Hogwarts, which was also my home. I had even more reason to want to go back to Hogwarts, I now had a friend and finally, my very own Cedric. I would be working hard in my last year of Hogwarts as I wanted to be a Charms Professor.

Soon we had completely left the country behind us and had reached the borders of England. It wouldn't be long before we arrived at Platform Nine and Three Quarters, and eventually Kings Cross Station. I finished off my book and swung my legs back around so they were on the floor. Cedric's arm still draped around my shoulder. I joined in as best as I could with Cho and Cedric's conversation about Quidditch and what they hoped to achieve in the next year.

We continued onwards and performed little charms. I made a little eagle out of paper and bewitched it so it flew about the compartment, making little eagle noises. Cedric then flicked his wand and turned it into a badger, that snuffled at Cho's foot. I then turned it into a realistic mini Swedish Short-Snout, which roared and blew flames (well, tried to) at Cedric, who scooped up the dragon and set it down in between us. The dragons were actually what brought us together for real.

"His name is Tiny. Look after him." I informed Cedric, who gave me that smile and looked at me from underneath his hair as it draped forwards while he poked about with his dragon. Cho smiled as she watched us doing things with Tiny the dragon, who seemed to enjoy being tickled and pushed off the edge of the seat so it could fly back up to us.

Eventually, the train began to slow down. We had arrived back home. Reluctantly, we all pocketed our wands and Cedric also pocketed his dragon, zipping the pocket almost completely up, only leaving room for the dragon to be able to have sunlight and not be in complete darkness. We all hauled down our trunks and I tucked my owl under my arm, before we exited our compartment. Cedric wrapped and arm around my waist as we exited the train and made our way through Platform Nine and Three Quarters.

Cho went through the barrier first and Cedric and I followed shortly. We stood into the station and we all sighed in unison. We walked forwards and I spotted my mother and father, who both waved enthusiastically at me. I waved with my free arm slightly. Cho then spotted her parents and jumped up and down, before turning to face me.

"Promise me you'll write." Cho said, seriously as she looked at me directly in the eye. I gave her an extremely straight face and nodded once, but I couldn't stay serious for too long. We both laughed and hugged each other tightly.

"Of course I will write, Cho. Now go, we don't want to keep your parents waiting." I said, as we let go. Cho smiled and ran over to her parents. She turned back and waved one last time before disappearing off with her family. I smiled after her. I was glad I had made friends with Cho, she really was a lovely person. As soon as Cho was out of eyesight, I turned to Cedric, who smiled down at me happily.

"You best be off, then." He said to me, looking over my shoulder at my parents, who were staring at us intently. I looked back at Cedric as he spoke, "And do I need to ask you to write?" I smiled happily at him.

"You know me too well, Cedric Diggory. I will write and will of course expect replies..." I said, trailing off. Cedric smirked, before hugging me, resting his chin on my shoulder. We broke apart after a couple of seconds. Cedric kept his hand on my arms.

"I will always reply to you. You best go. Your parents are staring and it's making me feel uncomfortable. We'll arrange something over the summer, you write when you're available and we'll sort something out. Well, I hope to see you soon, Caitlyn-with-a-y," Cedric kissed my cheek and as he walked off, he turned back to me, smiling madly, "And don't forget to breathe!" With that, he disappeared into the crowd, heavy trunk and all. I smiled at his retreating back. I was very glad I had my very own Cedric.

I walked over to my parents with a slight spring in my step, even though  was carrying a heavy trunk, and beamed at them. They were giving me proud looks as I stopped in front of them. I knew they were going to be asking lots of questions about Cedric, the Tournament, Cedric, The Yule ball, Cedric and then how I was...with some more Cedric added in. But I didn't mind, it was what parents did. And to be honest, I couldn't wait to tell them.

That's it, it's finished! All done now :) *holds back tears and reaches into sock draw and pulls out huge bar of chocolate* I hope you enjoyed Caitlyn's adventure, because I sure have enjoyed writing it! I was thinking of doing a sequel set in Order of The Phoenix, but I don't know. It all depends how this story works out. Please leave feedback as I love reading comments, it makes me feel all happy and fuzzy inside *.*

Caitlyn bids you farewell and so do I! Remember, that no matter how many times you read the Harry Potter series and finish it, no matter how many times you have a Harry Potter movie marathon, no matter how many completed or discontinued fanfictions you read, Hogwarts will ALWAYS be there to welcome you home
