Here is a little poem I wrote, about the connection I feel with the universe, and the spirit of the moon. We have hurt this earth so badly, and I believe that is why the human race is so far from harmonious.
It’s short, but I hope you enjoy it.

When I look up at the moon
The only thing I see is you
When I look up at the stars
I understand how small we are
When I watch the sun go down
I wonder why we wear the crown
When I see the lights go out
I know you’re there without a doubt
When I feel the drops of rain
I understand why we’re in pain
When I touch the broken earth
I wonder if it feels the hurt
When I breathe into my lungs
The air that surrounds all of us
I take a look up at the moon
And smile as I remember you
