Chapter 1- I'm Melanie

Melanie's POV-

"Despiertate" i heard my mom yell sense it was my first day of school. Ugh school I thought to myself as I rolled out of bed, damn i wish school wasn't boring. The only thing i like about school is that i get to spend some time with my peoples... right I forgot new school new people which means I'm lonely for now. But its whatever ig its gonna be the same, everyone is classified; popular lame,slow,hoe,slut,yanno basic school people. Theres gonna be drama, drugs,sex and lots other people shit. The only reason I say that is bc its the 21st century when don't people have shit to start. Oh well that's they problems not mine i thought as I threw on some casual high waisted ripped jeans with a crop top nd my Nike slides then put my hair up in a messy bun nd head down to my mom. "I made breakfast mija" she said with a big smile on her face looking like she had just fucked some nigga last night🤦🏽‍♀️"thanks mom" I said as politely as I could trying not to sound rude so I didn't get slapped knowing my basic latina mom😒. I ate my breakfast and kissed her cheek as I left out the door "bye ma" I said and walked to my car, she got it for me instead of a throwing me a quinceañera, cuz I ain't want a big ass party for more reason, I honestly don't understand quinces. As I drove off to school I did my natural makeup at some stop lights, yes ik "omg Melanie that's illegal" is prolly what you're thinking, well in my world hurting a girl is illegal but I still see y'all niggas doing it so don't come to me saying I'm being illegal🙄. Anyways once I got to school I start to feel nervous thinking bout how this year is gonna go. I looked out the window and start to identify the kinds of people there were, I seen a big ass group of kids dressed in brand clothes and shit, they were prolly the "popular group" Then, I see some kids reading others just talking and some just standing there by themselves staring at everyone. I don't even know why but I felt really nervous but I shook it off and grabbed my bag and my phone then got out the car walking into the school.
