carden hyner had plans. he had the rest of his life planned out. his college, job, where he was going to live, everything. he didn't want to change a thing.
carden had a perfect life. he had great parents that loved and supported him every step of the way, great friends that never left his side, and everything he could want. his dad created some revolutionary technology and earned their way to a stress-free life.
he lived in a mansion, he got whatever he wanted whenever he wanted it. he tried not to be snobby or stuck up, since half the school already thought he was, he didn't want to continue their beliefs.
carden was so happy to finally begin his senior year. he couldn't wait to go to college as soon as summer started. he had an interview the first day, even if that was still eight months away, he was still preparing. he wanted to stay in california, go to berkeley. the only think he didn't want was to find someone to change his mind.
carden was three weeks into school. he had already had three schedule changes, opting out of any electives and doing more of what he loved. math, science, you name it.
so far, he hadn't had anything get in the way of his goal. there was this girl, named rebekah, and she was beautiful. carden was pretty sure half the school had a crush on her. she was probably the most popular girl in school.
he knew that this was the start to exactly what he didn't want. first he would fall in love, and then ditch his dreams altogether. that was not going to happen to carden hyner.
// hey! i know that this is a super fast upload, and this will not replace next week's post, but since these two chapters are short, i figured why not but post them together. don't forget to vote, comment and share:) //
