     (Danny's POV)

Terrified. That's the one word I would use to define how I was feeling at the moment. Hearing the school bell ring flooded my body with relief. Trust me, having to listen to Mr. Lancer rant about how I am always late in front of the whole class is the most scariest thing I've ever witnessed. And thats coming from a ghost, er- half ghost...

Gathering my stuff together, I quickly stand up and make a bee line straight for the door. Not bothering to wait on Sam and Tucker, I run through the halls until I reach the exit doors. Pushing them open, I slow my run to a jog. Coming to a complete stop, I turn around only to see Tucker and Sam catching up...When they finally get to me, they bend over trying to catch their breath. Obviously confused about why im so exited, Tuck looks up towards me before managing to get out in between breaths "Dude, why are you... So exited... To get out... Of school...?"

"Because! It's Friday! And that means if we get out of here on time, I wont have to deal with Dash and his friends... " I shuddered at the thought of getting beaten up before I got to see my favorite little clone. Seemingly still processing this new information, I roll my eyes before grabbing Tuck's arm. Looking over to Sam, I nod my head towards the sky. Getting the message, Sam wrapped her arms around my neck. Closing my eyes, I mumble a quiet 'Going Ghost.' Focusing my energy, I feel it as my body shifts, suddenly I feel lighter. Opening my eyes, I look around adjusting my eyes to the new enhanced vision. Replacing the blank look on my face with a small smirk, I look at the sky. "Let's do this..."

Pushing off the ground, I feel my feet merge and become a tail-like end. Focusing once more, I feel the wind glide by me as I fly our little group to my house. Landing on the edge of my bedroom window ledge, I set Sam down first, then Tuck. Backing up into the room, I watch as Sam and Tuck throw their bags to the corner of the room and sit on the bed. Well, Sam sits on my bed, Tucker sits on the ground leaning against the bed. Amused by how easily they make themselves at home, I fly into my room and close my eyes.

Letting my tensed body relax slightly, I feel my body shift back. Snapping my eyes open, I spread my now separated legs and land perfectly on the ground as I had done many, many times before. Looking towards my friends, I wait in anticipation. Then, Tucker holds up four fingers, while Sam holds up seven. Letting out a frustrated groan, I complain. " Why is it soo hard to impress you guys?! It's not easy learning how to perfect a landing, you know!?"

"Danny? Is that you? Will you please come down here for a second?" My mom's voice broke through my train of thought. With my eyebrows pulled together in confusion, I glance at Tuck and Sam as if asking them if they knew what was going on. Looking at each other, Tuck and Sam shrug towards me, obviously not knowing anything.

Pulling open my door and jogging down stairs I was met with my parents and Jazz. Tilting my head to the side innocently, I looked on at them in confusion. Its official, I was scared. There, Jazz was wearing a smaller version of dad's jump suit along with a pair of mom's goggles. If you looked closely you could easily see that she was annoyed. As if finally getting that I was confused, mom started explaining... "Hey, Danny, your father and I thought it would be a great idea to take your sister and a few of your friends parents on a month long vacation to Hawaii. But, because were taking your friends parents, your friends, I think they call themselves 'The A-Listers', are going to be staying here with you. They'll be arriving Sunday."

My heart dropped, as well as the room temperature.I swallowed hard trying to get rid of the lump in my throat. I look towards Jazz, looking for some sort of evidence that this was all just one big sick joke. Jazz, knowing what the A-Listers do to me at school, shakes her head sadly. Looking back at my parents, I could tell that they were trying to do good and make me happy. With that thought in my mind I put a huge --fake-- smile on my face and thank them. "Thanks, Mom and Dad, but when are you guys leaving?"

"Were leaving tonight... Sorry, we didn't give you any further notice." Mom explained further. Without wasting a second, I pull mom into a hug. Not to mention I've grown to about Dash's height, so mom's head is right underneath mine. Closing my eyes, I savor my mother's warmth around my cold body seeing as I wont be able to feel it again for another whole month. I feel it as mom tucks her head into the crook of my neck. After around a minute of hugging her and refusing to let go, I unwrap my arms and back up.

"Well, umm... Im gonna, go to my...Room." I hesitated. I look up towards the stairs where Sam and Tuck are waiting. Turning towards mom and dad, they nod, probably already knowing that my friends are here. Biting the inside of my cheek, I stalk over to the stairs. Giving my family one last glance, I jog up the stairs and into my room.

Without thinking I walk over to my bed and collapse next to Sam, who was laying on the right side of the bed. Sitting up, Sam looks at me with a look of worry and adoration. The only thing I do is give her a deadpanned, bored look. Letting out a giggle, Sam lifts my head and lays it on her lap, playing my hair. Without meaning too, I let out a sigh of content as Sam runs her hands through it. Letting a small smile fall onto her lips, Sam leans over and pecks me on the cheek. Placing her forehead on top of mine and looking into my e letric blue eyes, Sam asks. "Whats wrong with you? Why are you so quiet? And what did your parents want?"

"The A-Listers... They're staying with us for the next month or so..." Taking a deep breath, I close my eyes and lean my head into Sam's hands. After a moment, I re-open my eyes and look up at Sam who had her eyebrow lifted. I was about to ask he what was up, but Sam beat me to it..."Us?"

I felt something cold rise to my cheeks as I blushed a bright green. I stuttered trying to make up an excuse as to why I said 'us,' before giving up. Flipping over, my head was no longer in Sam's lap, but instead was being stuffed in a pillow.

'This is gonna be a loooooong month...'
