Thomas & Friends - A Week in America

In Miami! - Part 3

During the flight, Thomas and his friends were still very bored. Especially James, usually he's very impatient. He groaned. "How long is it until we land?" he whined. "About two hours left," replied Edward. James sulked. The others ignored him.

Finally, the time has come. The airplane landed in Miami and everyone was very excited. "Yay! We're finally here!" James shouted. Edward laughed. "Now we can relax and have some fun!" Edward cried back. Thomas looked around. It was wonderful. He couldn't wait to explore Miami with his friends.

Later, Thomas and his friends arrived at a luxurious hotel to stay for the week. No one was tired. Everyone wanted to explore. So they all set off. Gordon, James and Henry went to the beach. When they arrived, they took off their shirts and went swimming. Thomas, Percy, Toby, Edward and Emily were out and about in the city. They gazed at he city in awe.

"THIS IS SO AMAZING!" yelled Thomas and Toby in unison. They all went shopping. Meanwhile back at the beach, Gordon, James and Henry were resting under their sun umbrella when Henry noticed a girl in the distance. She had black hair, brown eyes and is the same height as him. Henry gasped. "It's Crystal!"

Gordon and James looked puzzled. "Crystal?" asked James. "Crystal English. My girlfriend from THS," explained Henry. "Oh! Crystal," cried Gordon, "What's she doing here?", "I have no clue but I'm going to greet her," said Henry and walked away.

He walked up to Crystal. "Hey Crystal," greeted Henry. Crystal turned around and was surprised. "*gasps* Henry! Oh my goodness I can't believe you're here!" she cried and gave a Henry a hug. "What are you doing here?" she asked with interest. "Well my friend; Thomas Brighton got us tickets to come here for a week," replied Henry. "Ooh. You do have a lucky friend. I'm staying here for two weeks," said Crystal.

"That's great!" Henry cried, "Wanna hang out on Wednesday?", "Oh sure. I would love to hang out with you," she said dreamingly. Henry blushed a bright pink. "So I'll pick you up?", "Sure thing," replied Crystal, "I'm staying at my cousin's house so here's the address. "Okay. Thanks Crystal," said Henry happily. "No problem," she replied and kissed Henry. Gordon and James were sniggering as they saw her kiss Henry.

Henry came back and saw James and Gordon looking slyly at him. "Don't tell me you saw me and her kissing," cried Henry. James and Gordon nodded their heads. Henry sighed. "It's okay Henry. We'll keep this between us," said Gordon reassuringly. Henry wasn't so sure bout agreed.

Thomas and the rest of his friends were back at the hotel resting their feet. "It was fun today but I really need a rest after all that walking," moaned Emily. "Me too. My feet are killing me," said Percy as he laid down on the bed. "Hmmm I wonder what the other three are up too," Thomas wondered. "Didn't Gordon say they'd be at the beach?" Toby asked. Thomas nodded.

"Why don't we go visit them?" Edward asked. "I would but I want to have a rest first after all that waking," replied Thomas with a tired look on his face. Edward understood and went to the kitchen for a snack. "What should we do tomorrow?" Percy asked. "I don't know. But I know it's gonna be another good day."
