My mom picked me up at 10 in the morning.
Everything was still a blur.
As we drove home all I could think about was Chris.
I couldn't tell my mom, Chris's parents, or the police because I didn't even know what was going on.
We got home and I walked to the backyard and sat by the pond.
When I sat down all I heard a rustling in the bushes.
I looked at the bushes as Chris exited them.
He sat on the bench next to me and he began to talk.
"The night we broke up we were fighting about me cheating on you with Amber, but now Amber is dating Cameron Dallas. Amber told Cameron that I abused her, cheated on her, and broke her heart..."
"- Well you kinda did cheat on her and break her heart" I interrupted.
"I was stupid. I realize that I hurt both of you. Anyways Cameron Dallas is after me. He sent me a text saying he is going to find me and kill me, and if I try to get help he will have to kill them too." he said staring at me.
I didn't respond. I just sat there.
"You don't have to say anything you just have to get your stuff and come with me," he said "its the only way we will survive."
Hmmm plot twist?
I think so.
