Part XVI

Dear huang,
                I'm all better now, I'll go to school tomorrow. I'm scared to see you. I don't know why. Maybe because my heart might explode? Oh I don't know.

Scarlette's POV

I don't really want to go to school today but mom says I have to so I have no choice.

I continued walking towards the room and sat down on my chair once I entered.

I put my bag down and stared out the window. Everything was peaceful.. until I heard some squeels. I turned my head and saw him entering the room. Our eyes met but I quickly broke eye contact

"hey". He said as he sat down on his chair, which was next to me.

"oh hi". I said without looking at him.

"that's rude. you should look at me when I'm talking to you". He said.

I finally looked at him.

"what do you want?" I said

"nothing. are you okay now?" he said while smiling. Weird...

"Yes" I said. As on cue, the teacher entered the room and started discussing.

Why are you suddenly talking to me? Why are you being nice to me? What are your plans?
