The Only One

Chapter 2; A Never-ending Nightmare

Danielle's POV:

Mika... that was the last person who I saw before I passed out again. Who knows how long I was asleep for, but once I opened my eyes again I wasn't looking at him anymore. My eyes were looking right at a dark ceiling. I clearly was in a hospital room but who was I with? I turned to my right and saw a white cape and blonde wavy hair as I looked at him he seemed to be asleep. A smiled appeared on my lips as I knew who was sleeping there silently. "Mika.." I said softly reaching my hand out as I felt his blonde hair. His head was facing down as he snored slightly. A soft giggle left my lips as I started to wonder how long he must have been here for just waiting for me to wake up.

I heard him groan as he shuffled in his chair, his eyes slowly opening "Good morning sleepy head" I said softly. He heard my voice and looked at me with a smile on his face his eyes wide looking at me. I smiled back at him as he got out of his chair kissing me for the second time and somehow he was on top of me with our lips connected still. I could tell he was full of happiness just from the way he was holding me on the bed. I felt him bite my lip softly as he wanted to go further with me and I accepted him. After a couple minutes of kissing him our lips parted, a string of saliva coming from our lips. His head moved down to my neck his lips planting soft kisses on me softly.

"Mikaela... we can't.. I've never.." I said as my heart rate rises and my breathing growing faster every time he left a kiss. "I know.. I'll be gentle I promise" he said softly into my ear biting it softly. I nodded in response as of the next 3 hours we proceeded. Our clothes scattered about on the floor, our bodies close to each other and us both covered in the sheets of the hospital bed. I felt Mika stroke my cheek as I was exhausted. "I love you" he whispered in my ear. "I love you too Mikaela" were the last words we both said that night after we fell asleep together.

~The Next Day~

I woke up and saw that the bed was empty next to me and I covered myself as I looked around the room. I noticed that the bathroom light was on and the shower was running as I immediately thought that Mika must be in the shower. I got out of bed the sheets around me as I walked to the bathroom and opened the door. The room was full of steam from the heat of the water and I could hear Mikaela humming slightly to himself while he was washing himself off. "Mika do you mind if I join you?" I asked Mika jumped slightly from the sudden voice but quickly realised it was me.

"You scared me Dani but yeah you can come in, I thought you were asleep so I didn't want to bother you" he said as I took the sheet off of me and got into the shower with him. "I woke up about 10 seconds ago and I'm fine" I said hugging him from behind "Want me to help wash you off?" I asked. He nodded "I wouldn't mind." I started washing his back as he felt comfortable around me being in here with him as my face started blushing. He turned around to face me as I noticed he had much more strength than back then. "Wow you really have gotten stronger Mikaela" I noted. "Thanks I kinda worked out a lot to find you and get stronger of course" I smiled. "Well I like the new you it's hot" I said blushing. "What was that?" Mika said teasing me. "Nothing baka you heard what I said" I finished washing him and he did the same for me. We got out of the shower as we dried each other off and helped each other get dressed. As soon as we were done Mary and Beth walked into the room.

"Oh~? So what happened in here?" Beth teased. I glared at her as they both hugged me glad that I was alright. Mikaela stood there awkwardly and I pulled his arm so he could hug us so he wouldn't be left out. "So is there anything new I should know?" I asked. Beth looked down as Mary sighed. "Well... after Mikaela ran off with you we had to retreat away from the army and then Mikaela found us as we were running to the airport to find the other squads. We then ran to the hospital with you and stayed here while Kuruto was planning something big over in Nagoya." she explained. I looked around for my weapon and saw it was in it's smaller size. I grabbed it and made its original size mounting it on my back. "Then let's go there and see what the big deal is about" everyone nodded agreeing with me. Mika stayed in the room with me as Mary and Beth made there way out the door. "You know we could still run away together... away from all of this war.. Then we would never have to fight" he said grabbing hold of my hand. I looked up at him and kissed his cheek. "If everyone ran away from battle there would be no one left to fight for the war" I said smiling. Mika smiled back and we walked out of the hospital room hand in hand.

We later made it to Nagoya again by car. Once we got there, a giant war was occurring both Guren and Nick were fighting the vampires. "Nicky! Your okay! Let's go home Nick!" Beth said running towards Nick. He seemed to have red eyes and looked at Beth with a smirk. "Oh good your finally here I was hoping that you would" he raised his axe and plunged it down. Mikaela ran in front of me and blocked Nick's attack. "I knew some humans cannot be trusted" Mika said as Nick smirked "Out of the way Vampire!" Nick started fighting with Mika. Beth was pushed to the side by Mika and I ran to her putting my hand on her shoulder "That's not him, he must be possessed" Beth proclaimed. "Why is Mika fighting Nick like that for?" Mary asked. Mika was pushed to the side as Guren's strength was too much. "He's strong". Mika stopped mid-way "What's the matter?" Nick smirked, being cocky "You put up a much better fight with Guren In Shinjuku" Nick ran towards Mika as he hit him slightly on his chest as Mika blocked the attack. Mika then got kicked to the side towards me and me and him fell to the ground hard. I felt my ribs crack from the hit. This wasn't Nick he wouldn't do such a thing.

"That's enough" A voice erupted. Kuruto interrupted him as Guren also seemed to also listen to Kuruto as well. "Let's begin" Nick nodded in agreement and looked at his axe. If anything is to guess Fred must have Nick in control. "My sword drink the blood of a human and a demon" His axe seemed to have a mind of its own as blood flowed through it as it was no longer it's original color. I stood up groaning as Mika did the same wiping blood off his cheek. "Hey Nick what's wrong why are you fighting us!?" I yelled. "What is all this!?" I asked concerned for him. Nick looked at me as his eyes were a bright vampire red. "The Seraph of the end" he said. I gasped as I knew he was planning to activate me and Yuuichio's angel demonic powers. Nick then ran towards a human soldier fighting a Vampire coming inbetween the fight and killing the vampire and the solder along the fight. Mary and everyone else gasped as we watched Nick keep killing and killing soldiers and vampire's. Everytime he killed someone metal mechanical bars of some sort went into the humans and vampires bodies making them die faster if they didn't die from Nick's Axe. The bars seemed to suck up blood from the bodies it impaled.

The bars led to a red cargo box, something of importance had to be in that box if it's so important for Nick to start killing everyone. The box then exploded causing the ground to shake and the winds to become extreme. "It's coming, see it" Kuruto said trying to hold his ground as the winds were trying their best to bow him away. "Our punishment for breaking their taboo's"

Suddenly a glowing light came from the explosion. "It's heavens judgment, we must seize control of that power!" Kuruto demanded. Cody, Mary, Beth, Mika and I looked at the light. "That light what is it" Cody asked. The light made the sky turn gold as the glowing object burned a light purple. Everyone looked at the light in fear of what it may be. "It's an angel" one of the vampires proclaimed as out of the golden light two pairs of wings emerged. And a girl seemed to be in a middle of it all she looked to be tired and broken down. She looked familiar but I couldn't make out who it was from all the glowing light. Cody gasped as he knew it was someone important to his life. "SAMMY!!" he yelled. I looked at him and remembered who it was. It was his sick sister who he took me too to visit one time. She was said to be hit with the virus but from the seems of it she was experimented on too just like our family. Sammy's eyes seemed to glow gold as her pupils eyes were black all around her burning eyes. "You humans are sinners" her voice echoed. "You brought this on yourself's" She said holding up her hand summoning a golden trumpet, the same one I've seen before in my dream state when I'm with Tiffany.

She blowed into the trumpet, and the ground started to shake all around us. The ground came up from below us making huge spikes in the air. Was this what Nick was talking about. Is Cody's sister the 'Seraph of the End'?

Sorry I know it's not much to start off with But this isn't the end of this chapter Chapter 3 should be coming out today I promise!! I just thought this chapter should be long enough for a good read.
