Maleah is kind of like Shane, she was depressed. Shane and Maleah are best friends. When Shane got a girlfriend, Maleah became invisible. Thats when Maleah fell into major depression. Thats when Emily and Maleah started talking. They stated to hangout after school, talk at lunch, tell eachother secrets. When they did that, Maleah was, I guess you could say "getting better", she had Emily by her side 24/7. They were inseperable, people tryed to break them up. Nothing would work, then one day they got in a fight about eachother eating. They both were pretty over weight. So Maleah and Emily tried to starve themselves. Emily tried to help Maleah eat more, but she wouldn't. First Maleah was really depressed then Emily fell deeply into depresstion. Nobody inderstood besides Maleah. When everyone bullied Maleah, Emily tried to set them strait or tried to help Maleah calm down. Emily always considered herself to be a good friend. To Maleah.
