Charlie pov

This day started out as a usually day woke went to school picked up Meryl from her school went to the diner. Meryl looked so cute in her school uniform. I was so lucky that she went to an all girl school. I couldn't bare see her with other guys. she was my girl!

After arriving at the diner and ordering my friends decided to make an appearance with Lacey. I knew this wouldn't turn our good. tucker, Jon and Abby knew that she was clingy and got uber obsessive and possessive these past few months. I feared that she would make a scene in front of Meryl. which she did acting like my girlfriend. to make it worse tucker was hitting on Meryl in front of me. I couldn't believe my eyes tucker was suppose to be my best friend he knew about the me and Meryl thing.

I was so ready to leave and drag Meryl with me. but I didn't I sat their in silence finishing my food. After everyone was talking except me and Lacey. I realize their were talking like the were good friends

Meryl thought this was a good time to tell me she was switching my school. what the hell were they thinking. I choked on my milkshake and Lacey being Lacey decided to rub my back. I look at Meryl waiting for to explain the why. I didn't want her to be at my school, she would stick out to much. Tucker spoke up asking her questions, I silently thanked him until I realized were this conversation was heading. he was at first asking why she was changing school, to what's wrong with her school, what grade are you in. she's a junior I answered for her, I couldn't let him get his way. Meryl looked slightly confused. I shook my head telling her not now. Abby asked why were we together if everyone else is a senior. and since I usually don't hang with kids outside my grade. my clever response was she's my partner. which in most cases sounds a little wrong but me and Meryl always address each other as that. until john thought I was using her for private practice. Lacey assumed that to so the rested followed after. they started asking us about practice. like how long this has been going on for. Meryl was like as long as I can remember, giving my evidence to back up their suspicion. Lacey asked Meryl if I was a good partner which told them I was a great partner. Lacey looked like she blew a casket. Meryl looked around and realize what was happening.

"Omg you think I'm sleeping with Charlie" Meryl said she then explained that she's know me since she was 6 also that we partners in a competition. They seemed surprised. after clearing up that misunderstanding I was ready to leave. Meryl got up saying goodbye to everyone, well mostly everyone except lacey. Lacey took it upon herself to give me a goodbye kiss which I rejected. and left.
