IT'S COMPLICATED

The first day of school, the first bet

MATHER -
I'm so excited that I'm finally starting school again. Okey, I admit it, I love school but I also get in trouble a lot and I always get the parents speech and afterwards my parents don't even remember what happened so when it happens again they act like it was the first time or at least that is what I think. Well I don't really care. At my school I'm the most popular guy but not the kind of popular guy that is good, does not get in trouble, and is captain of the football team. No, no, no I'm more of that kind that gets in trouble and is in a gang, so yes I'm the bad guy of the school the one that everyone is scared of.
"Mather, you are going to be late for school if you don't stop looking at yourself on the mirror , you are not a girl." My big brother said.
"Oh, shut up Gage" I shout back.
"If you want to be late for school is your problem buddy "
" Fine " I said giving up the fight that I wanted to start. " All right then, let's go." And that was how my morning started and it's just the beginning.

This class is boring, I had always hate science it wasn't the best class so I always ditched or got kicked out. And this is the only class that I have a bad grade. I don't even know how did I manage to have Chemistry this year.
"Hey Mather, come here!" Screams my best friend Fidel, he was with out group so I went there. When I was close enough to hear what they were talking about I heard that they were talking about a new girl.
"Hey, what are you guys talking about ? "
"Oh , we were just talking about the new girl, they said that she is hot but some said that she is not , so we decided to made a bet" said Isabel.
" Okay, sounds like fun" I said " I'm in". If I didn't mentioned earlier here it is I like to make bets and this one sounds like fun.
"So, who is the new girl ? " I asked excited to know what the bet is about. All of them pointed at the end of a corridor. And that is when I saw her, I don't see her clearly but she looks gorgeous from here and I sort of feel and attraction to her.
" So, what is the bet about ? " I say still looking at her.
"The point is to make her fall for one of you guys and then the one that gets her is going to date her for at least a month then dump her, do I make my self clear or not" Isabel say.
" One question, is there any rules to this bet or not ? " Sergio ask , he is my other best friend.
"Yes but is only one, you guys have to play fair no cheating, okay?" Isa said and we all agreed.

BRITANY-
God please help me I being standing in front of my locker for an eternity. That is when I heard a group of kids pass by talking about a bet , when they got to a tree they stop and one of the kids called someone and my eyes immediately found the guy the other was kid calling to. He was cute even from a a distance I could see that he had really black hair and was dressed in black and dark blue. He joined the group and I just stare at them, until he looked my way.
I didn't know what to do so I just looked at my locker and felt myself blush because I still felt his eyes on me. When he finally looked away I went to find my first class , I didn't want to find myself on that position again it will be embarrassing. I decided not to think about him but it was hard I still remember the way he looked at as if I was someone special for him, but is weird to because I don't even know him right. Well let's see how my first day goes and I wish myself luck when I enter my first and favorite class Chemistry.
