he was tickling my arm, which was a somewhat familiar feeling. like, someone else had previously done this to me before.
i had been working throughout the day. all the stress from video making that was causing my brain to ache was suddenly gone in an instant, because of one simple action.
it was amazing, really. dan had a gift at calming people down. i secretly wished deep down that i had this power. it would come in handy in different situations.
'phil, you're thinking too much.' he says, stopping all motions on my limb. i closed my eyes for a second and opened them back up to look at dan. his eyes were a deep, swampy brown. they were comforting, and i could get lost into them for hours.
unfortunately, dan didn't like the fact i wasn't responding to him.
'hello, earth to philly, are you there?' a hand was waving in my face, a dan looking puzzled behind it. a small smile crept onto my face. dan never failed to make me laugh with his cuteness.
'i know, dan. but i can't stop thinking how lucky i am that i have someone that actually cares about my existence.' his arms wrapped around my torso, pulling me closer to him. my head falls into the crook of his neck.
'phil, of course, i care about you. i wouldn't even be here if it weren't for you. without your videos, daniel howell would cease to exist.' he turns his head slightly to the left and kisses my cheek, making my face burn a deep red.
'yeah, i guess.'
'now, stop blabbering and get to sleep. we have a big day tomorrow, you know.' he says, turning off the bedside light.
my eyes closed, and soon i was drifting off to dreamland to the sound of his breathing.

(sorry for only a short one. i couldn't think of much else to write since i'm just coming out of writer's block. i'll try and write some more soon. and this one-shot title may or may not have been inspired by troye's song lol. v)
