A/N: And so it continues... (Warning: My Little Pony references ahead)
Alice inhaled the smell of the ocean. "Ah," she laid down on her back. "The beach has such a wonderful smell. Wouldn't you agree, Castiel?" Castiel sat beside her, mouth still covered. When the angel didn't respond Alice looked up to him. She waved her hand in front of his mouth and the thing keeping it shut disappeared. "Any words, sweet angel?"
"Why do you need me?"
Alice smiled. "At first it was for Matthew, but he disappointed me greatly. Now I just wanna keep you!" She said the last part in a sugar-sweet voice as she pinched Castiel's cheek. "You're just so adorable in this form!"
Castiel pushed Alice's hand away. "What about the Winchesters?"
Alice's smile turned into a scowl. "I just wanted them dead. I knew that they'd find me sooner or later. And a powerful being like me? Hunters like them? They wouldn't even think twice about it. Heartless monsters is what they are."
Castiel watched the waves crash on the sandy shore.
"I don't understand why you stick around with them, Castiel," Alice examined her nails. "An angel of the Lord shouldn't have to stoop so low for company."
"What are you?" Castiel asked while still looking at the waves.
Alice smiled sweetly. "Can't tell you that, sweetie. Classified information, I can't even tell a cute little angel like you."
Castiel frowned. "Classified by who?"
Alice's smile turned into a frown for a split second. "Someone of a higher power than I. And you always want to obey someone more powerful than you, right? Wouldn't want to end up dead. Or worse." Alice sat up. "Now, I believe it's time we get back to my dear kitten." She waved her hand in front of Castiel's mouth, that thing appearing again. "He should be just about done." She snapped her fingers.
~~~
Alice appeared in the same chair as before with Castiel in her lap. But the sight she saw was one she didn't expect. Finder, in his monstrous form, was laying dead and bloody on the ground. Dean and Sam were looking at him, covered in his blood. "What...?" Alice choked out in disbelief. Sam looked up as Dean walked in front of the monster. "Alright," Dean said to Alice. "Give us the angel and we won't hurt you too badly."
Alice glared at him, a fierce and menacing look that made him want to run and hide. "You... You... Horrible monsters!" She stood up, gripping Cas by the collar of his coat. "You murdered my precious kitten! Now I'll just have to get revenge." Her wicked smile appeared.
Dean's heart sank to his stomach. She didn't mean...
"Castiel," Alice held him up like he was a puppy she didn't care for. "Your sweet angel. Surely he's something you care a lot about?"
Sam looked worriedly at his brother. In his current physical and mental state this probably wasn't the best scenario for him to be involved in.
Alice's smile widened. "Of course he his. You care and worry about him just as much as your brother." She looked down at Castiel. "It's too bad... I wanted to keep him. But I guess —" A bullet was put right in her head. Her body fell down, Cas falling with it.
Dean looked behind him. Sam was holding his gun. "How did you know that would work?" Dean asked.
"I didn't," he answered. "Just got lucky."
"We never get lucky."
A muffled shout dragged the brothers out of their conversation. Castiel was struggling to get that weird thing off his face. Dean ran over to him, taking him off of Alice's body, and then trying to aid him in getting that creepy thing off. "This isn't coming off," Dean sighed out after struggling with it for a few minutes. "But if she's dead then shouldn't all her weird magical side effects go away? I mean, we're still kids." He looked up at his brother who had joined them.
"Maybe it takes awhile," Sam suggested.
"Maybe you're right..."
Castiel made a muffled attempt at yelling and tugged at Dean's shirt. Dean turned and saw Alice's body moving. "Yeah," he stood up. "We never get lucky." He grabbed Castiel's wrist and followed Sam's lead in running out of the building.
Castiel had trouble keeping up with Dean. Dean was a lot bigger than him now. The hunter noticed Castiel falling behind, so he stopped to pick him up and then continued running, carrying him. When the three made it out of the building Sam jumped into the driver side and Dean hopped into the passenger side, still holding Castiel. "Okay," Dean said after Sam had started driving away. "So how the heck do we kill her?"
"Absolutely no idea," Sam answered. "We don't even know what she is, how are we supposed to know how to kill her?"
"Cas?" Dean asked the angel who was gripping his shirt tightly. "Do you happen to know what she is?"
Castiel shook his head and tightened his grip on Dean's shirt.
"Cas, are you okay?" Dean started to get worried. "What's wrong?"
Sam glanced at Castiel. But what he saw didn't look like Castiel. His eyes were dull and empty, he looked extremely pale, and his hair seemed to lose its color. The thing on his mouth was practically shining. "Dean," when Dean looked up Sam motioned to Cas. "We need to get that thing off his face."
Dean held Castiel's face in his hands. "How? It wouldn't come off earlier."
"We'll just have to find a way to get it off."
For the rest of the car ride, Dean just stared at Castiel. His face just kept getting paler, his hair getting lighter, and his eyes... They were just so... Empty. A faded blue that was practically grey. When the ride was over Sam exited the car, Dean following behind and carrying Castiel carefully. They entered their room and Dean set Cas down on the bed.
"Okay, Sam," Dean turned to face his brother. "How are we gonna get it off?"
Needless to say, they spent a while trying to get it off. Every attempt ended in failure. Which just made Dean very, very, pissed off. And when you're pissed off you kinda do stupid things. Dean grabbed that sparkling piece of whatever it was made out of and pulled it. And he did that "kinda stupid thing". "Oh my god. Open sesame or something — woah!" Unless that stupid thing happens to be the answer. Dean stumbled back, with that thingy in his hand. Sam felt like he wanted to throw something. "Are you kidding me?!" Dean shouted. "That's all we had to do?!"
Castiel coughed, taking the brothers attention, and Dean rushed to his side. The angel still looked grey and pale and he had a blank expression upon his features. "Cas? Are you okay?" Dean tried to remain calm.
"I... I can still hear her..." It sounded like he was struggling to speak. "Saying horrible things... She said she was..."
"She was what, Cas?" Sam asked as he got closer.
"Dis-Discord..."
"Discord?" Dean questioned.
"She needs to be... She needs to be turned to stone..." Castiel's eyes started to close.
"W-Wait, Cas." Dean tried to keep Castiel awake. But it didn't work.
"He's still alive, Dean." Sam mentioned while looking at Castiel's pale face.
"Well we need to turn that bitch to stone," Dean said, making Sam feel weird because a five year old is saying bitch. "We have to kill her."
