Its messed up how so many teenagers are alone and sad in their rooms while their parents watch TV. And how a lot of teenagers have had  realitivley normal childhoods yet there is a huge boom of depression and ed's and mental disorders. And its dumb how we've turned in to the generation labeled 'reckless' but we are only really reckless with ourselves. How you can give someone your heart, and if ita not good enough for them, ita not good enough for anyone. That people can rip you into pieces so small you can't tell that you still exist. That uou spend so much time making sure everyone else is happy , so it drives you insane because yoi never have time to make sure you're still happy till you get to the point where youre done with feeling alone and unwanted. To the days where you are trying so hard it just gets to the point where it hurts to wake up. That day you died when they were in the middle if their sentence and you already knew where it was going and yes you knew they'd eventually give up on you, you just never imagined it would hurt this much. How they used to be different or maybe it was you but this is why you don't hold onto someone for long because you either lose them or realize they aren't who they said they were.. And in both cases you end up alone but you don't care anymore. How people can just say things like 'you don't actually have those problems. Yet nobody knows the real you. Nobody knows how many times you've sat in your room and cried. How many times you've been let down. How many times you've had to hold back tears. How many times you've almost snapped but didn't for the sake of others. Nobody knows the thought that have gone through your head when you are sad and how horrible they really are. And people say things like why is it so hard to trust others? You reply why is it so hard to keep a promise? And the people who promised to always be there for you are gone. How everyday you realized a little more that you don't matter to them. We live in a world where media pulls us from the womb and nurses us, and teaches us our first words. 'Skinny pretty skinny pretty' girls soft quiet pretty. Boys manly muscles pretty. But I mean we all end up with our heads between our knees. because the only place we'll ever truly feel safe is curled up inside skin we've been taught to hate, by a society who shuns our awful confidence and feeds us our own flaws. And sometimes when we need to meet the you that loves you, you can't find them. A reminder that the mirror is meant to be a curse of egotistical narcissist. But since when is self confidence a sin? Since when was loving yourself made an of fence by morons who don't  matter? Be anything beyond paper fine flesh and flashy teeth and fingernails. Echoic accusations of not good enough, never good enough. Have you very felt so numb it hurts? Entertain me. Whore. You can't surrender to them. You got to remember you're the only thing you'll ever truly have. When you first learn to love yourself more than anyone else, a world if happiness unseen  will be discovered because somewhere along the line of time, you were taught to despise yourself.
