i sat on the couch in the studio, watching as they put their bags down and began stretching. it was actually pretty funny, seeing them fool around as they stretched. "guys, let's focus." seungcheol says. and almost instantly, they did their stretches properly.

"alright, let's separate into the different units for half an hour. then we'll see what we've worked on." their choreographer says. they nodded, immediately separating themselves into their groups of four, the vocal unit being the only group with five.

i mainly kept my eyes on wonwoo. maybe having a different liking to him compared to the others, gave me this biased attention span that lasted only for him.

geez.. it's only been a few says since i actually met him. and here i am, practically already head over heels. ask me if i'd expect myself to be like this a few days ago, and i'd call you crazy.

i didn't expect myself to fall this hard.

a knock on the door causes for me to snap back into reality, bringing my attention over to the door that was now opened. four incredibly beautiful girls step in, bowing instantly as they greet the whole group.

"annyeonghaseyo. i'm jae. the leader of G4. pd-nim asked for us to sit in and observe the practice, if that's alright with all of you." she asked, furrowing her eyebrows. "that'll be no problem at all. don't worry." seungcheol says, giving them a small smile after the choreographer gives them an 'okay'.

one of them in particular caught my eye. she had an attention grabbing purplish tint to her hair that complimented her defined eyebrows perfectly. her lips were left untouched with a thin layer of lip balm. her ears were pierced with ear studs, and a tattoo was visible on her arm. she sported a high ponytail with her casual outfit that consisted of a cropped white button up with black jeans. eventually, i learned that her name's tay.

she looked fearless.

i stood up, bowing to greet them, feeling that it was a little wrong to say seated like that.

"this is jisu, our best friend." joshua introduces, giving the girls a smile after the rest had introduced themselves. they smiled in return, heading to the couch for a seat as well.

i sat there, biting the inside of my cheek as i stared down at the wooden plank-like floor, feeling inferior to them. they looked beautiful. while i looked like a lost school girl who was lucky enough to be brought to the studio. which perfectly described my current situation.

after the half an hour was up, they began practicing. then, they took a break for fifteen. i sat there, still sightly unsure if i should speak to them. "jisu-ah, follow me." wonwoo says, as he swings a towel over his shoulder, looking down to me.

i could feel the girl's gaze divert over to me as wonwoo mentioned my name. "huh? but.. uhm..okay." i answered, coming up with nothing to avoid having to stand up and feel slightly intimidated by the girls.

once we're out of the studio, he sits me down on the stairs, taking a seat two steps above me.

"what is it that's bugging you?" he says with a sigh, as he places his elbows on his knees, leaning forward as i sat down. "it's nothing, oppa. i'm fine." i said, forcing a smile as i looked at him.

"you're stupid if you think i'm believing that." he says, placing a hand on top of my head, giving me a fake smile. i rolled my eyes, leaning back against the staircase railing. "you were comparing yourself to them, weren't you?" he asks with a chuckle. "w-what?" i stuttered, inching away from his hand.

"aigoo.." he says, ruffling my head. "those girls, are younger than you, jisu. and in my eyes, there's no one else more perfect than you." he says, as i avoided his gaze. "we sound like one of those disney movies." i whispered, as i fiddled with my fingers, staring at my feet.
