"i'm sorry." i muttered as we walked down the same path we took to go to the restaurant earlier on. "i don't blame you.. i should've been more cautious." he says, letting out a sigh. "but i should've understood your position." i fought back.

"i know." he says, looking over to me.

"this time.. it's my fault. i'm sorry." i said, as i stuffed my hands into my pockets. "you don't have to apologise. i'd be just as angry if i saw a guy do that to you, in front of me." he says with a chuckle, attempting to lighten the mood. i smiled a small smile, nodding.

"aish.. don't worry about it. next time, let's just tell each other everything. okay?" he asks as he brings me into a hug. i wrap my arms around his torso, nodding against his chest as his heartbeat calmed me down. "i overreacted again, didn't i?" i asked. he chuckles, placing a hand on top of my head as he ruffles my hair. "it's fine. you're cute when you get jealous like that." he says, intertwining our fingers as he continues to walk me home.

"i'm sorry i'm so sensitive with everything." i whispered, looking ahead at the pavement that seemed to never come to a stop. "it's fine.. stop apologising. i really don't mind." he assured me, squeezing my hand gently. "plus, we'll have to get through it. you know those girls were just purposefully trying to piss you off, right?" he asks.

i nodded. "don't give them that satisfaction of having you get annoyed." he says with a sigh. "you have no idea how many times i get jealous, in a singular day just because of you being clueless." he says, ruffling my hair. "what?" i asked.

"exactly." i hit his arm playfully, rolling my eyes. "yah. you should offer to have me over for dinner, not hit me." he scolds jokingly. "doesn't sound like a bad plan. do you want to?" i asked, lifting my eyebrows as i look at him. "i would love to. now, come on. let's hurry. i'm hungry." he says, putting me into a playful headlock as he begins running.

"good evening mr and mrs lee." wonwoo greets as he sees my parents in the cafe, with a few other customers. "ah. will you be having dinner with my daughter?" dad asks. "if you don't mind, sir. i would like to." wonwoo says politely. i chuckle as my dad gives him a death glare before smiling. "of course. go ahead. make yourself at home, future son-in-law." my eyes widened.

"dad!" i whined, looking over to my mother in desperation. "aigoo.. don't mind him. run along." she says, shooing us off quickly.

"so do i have to propose to you now?" wonwoo asks as we starts going up the flight of stairs. "sorry about that. i don't know what's up with my dad." i said, shaking my head. "don't worry. your dad isn't as bad as my ex's." he says with a chuckle. i furrow my eyebrows. "what happened?"

"because they were practically millionaires, they tried to bribe me into marrying their daughter. this was during the time when the boys and i had just debuted." he explains. "woah.." i said, letting a gasp escape from my mouth.

"obviously, i didn't take the bribe. shockingly enough, the girl didn't want me to propose to her either. she claimed that her parents were always like this with every boyfriend of hers."

what a relief.

"so what do you want for dinner?" i asked, changing the topic as i walked ahead, placing my bag on the couch and walking towards the kitchen. just then, wonwoo grabs my arm and tugs me towards him, letting me crash against his chest. my eyes widened as i looked up to him.

"you."

"just kidding." he says, pinching my cheeks as he was satisfied by my expression. "i'll cook for you. go wash up." he says, placing a kiss on my nose. i sighed, shaking my head. "don't burn down the kitchen." i teased. he chuckles. "yah. you liked my cooking last time. just trust me." he says with a slight whine.
