You clenched your fist, you had to chose and quick. You were closer to Nea anyway. You ran to her, she struggled as much as she could. You pushed your way through the Entity and helped Nea. She thanked you running to the door.
You wanted to see if you could save Jake. Making your way through the corn, the hook, was on the ground, the Entity, holding a body, curling into the sky. Your eyes widen watching it disappear.
"Y/n! Let's get out of here- now!" Nea cried, the killer in the exit with her. You drained your guilt, running to safety. Nea was hit out the exit. She pulled herself up and ran. The killer walked off not taking a hit on you. There wasn't a point to hitting you if he couldn't get you afterwards.
You escaped, thinking of the man who lost his life. Your small memories with him, he had been the first you met. You had ran into the shed with him, making a small moment. He was calm and the easiest to talk to. He seemed to be very understanding and passionate. He had the most comforting smile.
Once you reached the fire you saw everyone, curious where Jake had gone. You started to bawl, thinking of his messy black hair, always tangled, his brown oak eye, that gazed into yours. The dirty old scarf he wore, the heavy green jacket.
"Jake is kinda gone." Nea spat out, with too much ease. Her comment made you furious. "How- How dare you!" You snapped, stepping forward. He rebel teen turned to you, raising an eyebrow.
"Jake's dead?" Claudette cried out. You nodded, taking the time to wipe the tears from your face. Dwight sat down on the long, looking into the fire. Ace wrapped his arms around you, trying his best to comfort you. Claudette started to bawl, cuddling into Meg, who patted her back, a frown upon her face for the first. Laurie stabbed into a tree, looking down...Nea- Nea stood there emotionless.
You shrugged Ace's arms off your body and walked to your tree. The journal untouched, still covered in dirt. You picked it up and read a page you haven't read yet-
"The only possible escape lies behind huge ornate metal gates. They taunt me every time I lay my eyes on them keeping me in, as a caged animal. But as I discovered, they can be opened. Somehow these generators are the key to getting them open. As I managed to repair enough of them, the gates opened, and I ran with all my soul towards the campfire in the distance. Sometimes I escape and sometimes I stare the Entity in the eye and wake up at the never ending fire. Why aren't the killers following me through the gates? I might never know."
You finished reading rereading, "Sometimes I stare the Entity in the eye and wake up at the never ending fire." You dropped the book, running towards the fire. JAke was no where to be seen. You searched around the area.
"You okay?" Nea asked, walking over towards you. You started to think. 'I stare at the Entity in the eye and wake u at th- wake up!' You thought.
"Everyone sleep! Now!" You commanded, laying you head down on the log, near the fire. You drifted off to the abstract world. Where you got another random shape. Not a diamond nor a voice. You tried your best to go back, wake up.
You lifted your head to see Jake, laying near the fire, not dead. You squealed, tears coming out your eyes. He lifted himself off the ground holding his head. You giggled, and crawled over to him, crying softly.
The black hair man, confused as fuck, embraced you, stroking your hair softly. "How am I here- I thought I died." He inquired, prying you off his chest. You wiped your tears away, explain the notebook you had found to him.
"Jake!" Cheered a dark female. She wrapped her arms around hi, snuggling her head under his arm. jake gasped, with a dumb smile on his face. You helped yourself to Jake's chest. He was warm- and more importantly...alive.
