Ace was thrown onto the hook, his arms brought up to fight the entity. You closed your eyes fighting your thoughts. Your choice was soon made as you lifted Ace off the hook leading him to the doorway.
You stopped in the doorway wanting to save Dwight. "No...don't go."Ace begged, though you couldn't listen. You made your way through the bushes and trees to watch Dwight fight. You gasped standing in front as his hands slip.
"No!" You cried reaching out to the dead male. His body lifted form the sky, you sobbed right in front of the hook.
Ace grabbed your hand dragging you out to the exit. You struggled trying to go back. Ace spun you around and shouted, "He's gone. Unless you want to end up like him we gotta go." Tear continued to form and leak but you nodded snapping out of it.
You reached the exit taking a glance back thinking if the funny, handsome, smart male. You chuckled remembering how you met. When you quickly threw yourself into a locker making the most noise possible and he pulled you out yelling at you.
The flirtatious moments of staring at each other getting a good look at them. The moments he got angry with Meg, his eye twitching when she lead them to all of you. When he drooled over a toolbox that...what a nerd.
You stood in the doorway thinking before Ace forcefully pulled you through the exit running to the campfire, tears still formed in your eyes.
"You made it!" Claudette cheered embracing both of you. She searched around and went to questioned the missing survivor, but you broke out in tears. Ace sigh hugging you, his fingers running through your hair.
The dark female covered her mouth tears forming in her eyes, the other looking down, a mixture of fear and guilt. Death was real and could happen to anyone.
"I- I need time to think." You pushed yourself from Ace walking back to your tree. You looked through the notebook flipping through the pages only reading titles.
You stopped an read a random page called Exit gates.
"The only possible escape lies behind huge ornate metal gates. They taunt me every time I lay my eyes on them keeping me in, as a caged animal. But as I discovered, they can be opened. Somehow these generators are the key to getting them open. As I managed to repair enough of them, the gates opened, and I ran with all my soul towards the campfire in the distance. Sometimes I escape and sometimes I stare the Entity in the eye and wake up at the never ending fire. Why aren't the killers following me through the gates? I might never know."
'Sometimes I stare the Entity in the eye and wake up at the never ending fire' stuck to you the most. Was there a chance of life after death in this paranormal world, this asymmetrical world? You read it over and over, analyzing every piece.
Too much made you tired, you yawned stretching. Ace sat next to you asking, "You feel better?" As his arms wrapped around you, a hint of hope hit you. Like Dwight was gonna come back and everything was gonna be okay.
You fell asleep to the abstract world taking the token given. A flashlight with a brown token on it, so small it was hard to notice. You gripped the handle drifting back to the real? world.
You moved you head noticing the sleeping Ace, the sleeping Nea, the afraid Claudette...Dwight! You shoved Ace and scrambled on your feet. "Dwight! You're okay!" You cried laying down next to him as he groaned raising his head up.
When his eyes met your he glared, "I cannot believe you!" He shouted. Guilt wayed down your heart. "I know...I'm so-" "I don't want your apologies." He snapped scooting away from you.
"Give her a break." Claudette butted in, walking closer to Dwight. "Yeah dude, someone had to die." Ace remarked embracing you from behind.
You wanted to say sorry a thousand times, but it would anger him more. Dwight scoffed standing up.
