Ways to calm down anxiety

I myself have anxiety and these are just some of the ways I calm myself down.

1. Find somebody you trust and talk to them about what makes you anxious and then just keep talking about random things until you're less anxious.

2. Breathe in for 3 seconds, out for 2 seconds. Repeat the process until your breathing is normal again.

3. Repeat to yourself "Im okay. Everything is okay.  You can do this."

4. Take a shower/bath. Cry if you need to. Get out, dry off and get dressed. After that, that's it. You're done feeling bad for yourself or feeling anxious. Make a point to try and move on from it after that.

5. Take a walk.

6. Watch things that make you feel peaceful

7. make a promise to yourself that you're gonna turn the anxiety into something productive.

8. scream into a pillow

9. shred something.

10. find something funny, and laugh until your sides hurt. Laughter cause endorphins and endorphins make you feel happy.

11. listen to music that makes you happy or makes you feel calm

12. make a calm down jar.

13. imagine your anxiety as a tangible thing, let go of it, kill it, whatever it takes for you to feel like you've successfully conquered it for now.
