''Make a decision miss" I heard the lawyer say..
Wow,I thought I was about to make the decision for me and junior sister(damn)I sat down and asked the judge if he could give me some more minutes to think it over and he said yes..
I could hear my mum trying to mumble some words to me and I suppose to actually choose to stay with her
I also heard my dad mumble some words with His eyes looking a little bit glassy with tears and at that moment I realized that this was going to be one of the hardest decisions I was going to make(damn)
I sat there thinking things over like where will my dad start from
Cause' I mean it was my mum that was cheating right ?
(Flash back)
"Ohhh myyy Goood brenda"I heard my dad say from the kitchen down stairs
I had never seen my parents quarrelling before so this was new,I mean they normally exchange words but they end up kissing or something so I held to the door and thought to my self

Give them some more minutes to sort it out babe you've gotta chill..its all under control

But I waited for at least 50minutes and they were still on it And when I opened my door about to run down and see whether its the apocalypse,I saw my little sister infront of my door crying and she asked me the question,the one question that will determine (woah woah chill its not the apocalypse or something)

"Why are mum and dad getting divorced?"
And then my heart skipped a beat
I started re thinking the last 17years of my life

(End of flash back)

"My Dad"I said softly
"What?what was that?" I heard the judge say distantly..then I straightened my top and adjusted my back and looked across to my mum and where her supposed husband and daughter'Lenny' which is just about my age or rather as mum said older than me with a month and I took a deep breath and held my sister tight and said the words

"I want to stay with my dad"
And with that the judge now said we may leave ..

As my dad joined us in the car he turned at stared at me and whispered a thank you ....
I adjusted in my sit and faced him

"Dad"

"Yes bunny"

"Are you hurt?"

"You know sometimes we make mistakes..not by falling in love but by forgetting the word forgive"..with that he took a deep breath and kicked the car..but I softly laid my hand on his while trying to turn the wheel and smiled softly

"Dad?"

"Kayla?"

"Why didn't you forgive mum"

"Because I was stupid and I wasn't thinking"

The rest of the ride home was really quiet with my sister in the back seat really confused after my mum met both of us

(Flash back to an hour ago)

"Kayla,Kimberly my babies"

I sighed as I heard that familiar voice,that soothing voice..the one that always read I and Kimberly to sleep and turned I was amused to see her not being mad

"My girls"she hugged us tightly as I suffocated
