I watched the busy rush hour of Riverfell road and pondered why it was called that. I sat there in the cover of the forever growing tree watching the leaves fall around me. I saw the sunlit sky turn dark as the sun finally set for the everlasting night. I turned my gaze to the canopy on the other side of the road. I could see a small shimmering light which rapidly disappeared as I blinked. I turned my gaze back to the road and continued watching the innocent mortals drive by. The wind started to pick up which made my ice blue hair fly into my purple eyes. I brushed my hair away from my eyes and tied it up in a ponytail. I watched the road again and heard a small smash. My eyes were directed to the car pulling over at quite a rapid pace. I tilted my head and walked on the tree branches to get a closer look. I watched as a cloaked figure ripped off the back left door and it took out everything. I watched as I saw a man confronting the thing and I heard their voices get carried in the wind.

"Put my daughter's things back and leave!" the father yelled

"Back off sir..." the figure replied. The father shoved the figure in rage.

"Put her stuff back now!" the figure put the items on the ground.

"I promised myself that," I saw the figure pull out a gun "no one would get hurt so I guess I can always break promises..." I heard a gunshot and my eyes widened. I saw the father fall to the ground. The figure picked up the items again and went to the right side of the car. It ripped off the door and took a small child from the back. It flung her over its shoulder and walked off into the other trees. I went to turn back and help them but got scared at my friend Hunter's presence. I fell off the tree branch and a green fabric wrapped around me. I saw Hunter pulling me back up and placing me back on the branch. The green fabric returned to his cloak as he gave me a guilty smile.

"Hunter why did you scare me?"

"I didn't mean to I was just wondering what you were watching...I'm sorry Lily"

"It's ok Hunter and I was just watching evil steal from good..."

"What did it steal now?"

"A child and items that looked like technology..."

"That's roughly the 10th time that thing has stolen something again."

"I know and every time we get close it manages to slip away like smoke..."

"Really gets under my skin..."

"Same here now what are we going to do?"

"Ask questions find villains who might know things?"

"I think it's time to call the gang again..."

"Just say the word malady..."

"Round up the gang Hunter." Hunter jumped off of the tree branch and a dazzling cyan light flared around him and when he emerged he was a forest green falcon. I wish I could see his face one day I thought.

I jumped off of the tree branch and before I hit the ground full force a branch wrapped around my arm and gently placed me down on the ground. I nodded to the tree in thanks and it recoiled its branch. I ran towards the meeting place. I walked cautiously over the tree trunk lying over the rushing river. I waited at the giant stones or as I called them the phoenix union entrance. I watched a small sparrow flutter beside me. I put out my hand and it hopped onto my finger. I leaned against a thin tall rock and petted the sparrow. It flew over to a baby rabbit that was tangled in the bushes. I walked over and emitted a caring light from my hand and the rabbit became free. I picked it up and placed it away from the bushes. I watched it run off.

I went back to the rocks and leaned against it once more. I saw the river start flowing up onto another rock and turn into a human. She had icy blue skin and wore a grey patterned tracksuit. I nodded in respect at her and she gave me a cold stare and waited for other people. I knew she didn't trust me or my abilities yet so I let it slide. We watched a dark shadow crawl up a stone causing the shade to alter and stay on the stone. The shadows reformed into a shadowed human with glaring red eyes. It sat on the rock until a stream of light knocked him to his forever darkening rock. Just so happens I was leaning on that same rock. The shadowed human put out a fist to me and I punched his fist back. It laughed and sat on the rock. The laughter went out as the light turned into a pure woman. I nodded at her and she nodded back at me. I heard Hunter's screech so I put out my arm and soon a huge falcon gripped onto my arm.
