A high school senior jade Lee who was the most popular kid in North Chester high. She was the only female child of her parents. She has two best friends named Nikki Harper and Jennie Ziegler. She has a crush on a school jock named Scott Thomas. Jade did absolutely everything she could to get Scott's attention but it actually never worked but instead he saw her as a mean, selfish and a barbie doll freak. The home coming dance was coming up and Jade only wanted to go to the dance with Scott. She sent him letters and flowers but he never saw it as anything. But then she heard a rumor that Scott asked a dork named Ruby to the home coming dance, she was so angry that she decided to threaten Ruby. Along the hall way, she saw ruby and grabbed her to the corner. ' did I just hear a breaking news that Scott asked you to the dance ' jade said with power and authority. ' meaning he likes me that is why he did that ' ruby replied with a shaking voice. ' really don't care so leave my man alone, go find a guy with the quality of your status, look I actually don't care how you do it so leave him alone ' jade said as she sashayed away, and left ruby to weep.

It was three days to the home coming dance and jade is looking extremely beautiful, she took a shower and gets ready to leave for school. ' jade aren't you gonna have breakfast ' said Mrs Lee as she froze on her way to listen. Her mum didn't even finish her sentence, as jade ran to give her mum a big hug, her mum was happy because she knew jade was. She ran out of the house to get to school early. She got to the hall way and as usual everyone admired her outfit. Then from a distance she saw Scott going towards her direction. ' oh now, he is chasing after me am sure he loves me' jade said as a big blush surrounded her face. Then all of a sudden she received a hot slap from Scott. ' how dare you threaten Ruby, why did you. Jade you are so mean you think the world should just revolve around you. You are deeply desperate but you know what you can't always get what you want ' he said and was about to leave when he turned around and said ' I hate you jade really ' A sudden rush a of tears filled her face as she saw Scott going and knew she no longer had a chance to win his heart. At school jade was not the same, she didn't speak, laugh or joke, she just remained calmness thinking of what Scott said to her over and over again. After school jade went home and saw her dad who has been in New York Brooklyn ever since she was ten. She was happy and shocked at the same time. ' dad what are you doing here ' said jade with surprise ' aren't you happy to see me ' Mr Lee asked ' yes of courses I am what is it ' she asked ' I am here to take you with me and it is an important business matter ' ' what!!!!' She exclaimed ' no dad I have home coming ahead of me, please no I would stay with aunt Luna ' ' no way, Jade this is important, go get ready ' he said with so much seriousness. ' dad, this is going to ruin my life ' she muttered as she faced her mum ' mum why don't you talk sense into dad, tell him because you know my reason ' ' I am sorry jade, but I think your dad is serious this time ' Mrs Lee replied With disappointment. Jade paused as tears ran down from her cheeks. She stepped backwards and backwards until she turned to run out. On her way to Nikki's house she saw Scott and Ruby holding hands she felt jealous but what could she do she was leaving, so she had an idea. She went to a book store bought of ten pages. Then she went to the park to write. ' Scott this is really hard to say but I need to tell you how I feel about you. Well it is like long story but please read it. Well when you newly came to north chester high, I really admired you, you looked so cute that I ran to Jennie and Nikki and told them all about you. I made you popular. I desired you all this while and hoped you would really notice. I used to ask Flora all about you since she was your sister. She told me you loved red velvet cupcake just like me and loved lemonade too. Your favourite colour is red and black. You hate cats but love dogs. You love to party but you are an introvert. When ruby arrived and I figured out that you really liked her I was hurt and kinda jealous and did really mean stuff to her. All I have ever wanted to is for us to go to homecoming together. But now I am leaving because my dad insisted I must leave. But you should know for a fact that I would always miss you ' she wrote till the ten pages ran out. She went to school and gave Scott the book to read. When he was done he felt so emotional and started to regret all his actions. He went to Jade's house and asked for her, jade ran down the stairs ' Scott why didn't you tell me you where coming ' she said with a big smile on her face. ' I read the book and I am here to fulfill your wish ' he said She smiled as she ran to her room and dressed up looking so pretty. They went to the park and sat on a bench as Scott faced towards her direction. ' I didn't realize all you where doing for Jade , thanks ' he said as he smiled at her. ' no need to say thanks really I understand, I was just selfish l, really I am not a bad person. I really like you '. 'I know but why didn't you let me know now I feel like I am a bad person ' he said feeling evil. ' no Scott don't say that, just make ruby happy cause my happiness is your happiness ' she said as they both held hands and rested on each other. Jade felt on top of the world because she knew it was her last time with Scott. After all the good day, Scott sang a love song for Jade. She was so happy that she had a special moment with Scott but she was sad she was going to leave all these memories. She went to Jennie's house and called Nikki over, they had little time to spend together. Jade knew she was going to miss them a lot than she actually thought.
