Chapter 4: Home sick

Jade woke up finding herself on her bed. Immediately her mum hugged her giving her so many pecks.
   ' baby you gotta tell me what happened. Don't worry I would change you new school ' Mrs Lee said crying.
  ' mum WHAT, there is no way I am changing my new school ' jade argued.
   ' look Jade I can't take any more risk ' Mrs Lee said.
  ' don't you want me to have a fun highschool year, if I don't make mistakes how would I be corrected ' Jade said as she hugged her mum who currently felt like her only friend.
   ' okay I would let you stay, only if you stay home for just a week ' Mrs Lee said.
   ' okay mum whatever you say' Jade said
  There was a sudden knock on the door, and it was Charlotte who was also holding a present in her arms.
  Charlotte ran and gave jade a very big hug and handed her present over to her.
    ' how are you feeling now ' Charlotte asked.
  ' good ' Jade faced her mum and said ' could you please leave us alone ' .
  Mrs Lee left as the two girls began to laugh and cry at the same time.
  ' I would be coming to school this week ' said Jade.
  ' I know, but what I have to tell you would spice you up ' Charlotte said keeping Jade in suspense.
   ' what, come on tell me ' Jade curiously asked.
  ' Brandon asked about you, and this present is not from me but from him ' Charlotte announced.
   ' no way ' Jade said in full shock.
  'if not why would I get you a present, not just any one, CHOCOLATE ' Charlotte replied.
  ' and on it, it says call me ' Jade said
   ' what are you waiting for let's call him ' Charlotte replied in excitement.
Jade took her phone and started to dial his number. As soon as Brandon saw it was Jade he quickly picked up the phone.
   ' hi ' he said in a low and cool voice.
  ' thanks for the present ' jade thanked him.
' anytime do I would com pick you up later tonight already asked your mum ' Brandon said to her.
   But Jade didn't feel like going so they ended the call after a long conversation.
   She told her mum to give an excuse which was pretty obvious to Brandon that she didn't want to go.
   So he intentionally asked Kylie to go with him. Jade felt really bad about it and regretted her actions towards Brandon.
  She just stayed by her window pane and started to count the stars. One thing she knew for sure was that her life was very different.
   Jade was so bored at home with no one yo play with so she went to her mums room to have a little conversation.

   She saw her mum in the dinning room, crying and praying for her. At first she thought her mum was crazy but also knew the value of her actions.
    ' mum I regret not going out with Brandon ' jade said to her mum.
   ' I know sweetheart they are regrettable mistakes which you can't just change ' Mrs Lee said to her daughter.
  ' I feel I want this baby now mum, I need her to be my best friend ' Jade said feeling horrible.
   ' come sweety come give me a hug ' they both hugged and felt like they were the only ones in the world fighting against everything.
  The next day Jade tried sending a lot of messages to Brandon to apologize for her silly behavior but he kept ignoring.
  Charlotte came over, Jade told her she needed to see Brandon. They made an escape plan got Jade out of the house.
    Jade ran to the party. It was at a guy named Finn who made the party.
  Jade asked everyone for Brandon but they all said they didn't know where he was.
   Kylie sited Jade and quickly went to Brandon. She started to hug him to make it look like they were having a good conversation.
       Jade saw it and her heart started to beat really fast. She knew she had nothing to say so she headed back him with Charlotte. Unfortunately for Brandon he figured out she came and left. So he angrily left the party.
  When Jade and Charlotte got to Jade's place, they got in through the back door and unluckily Mrs Lee was in the kitchen waiting. As they were tippy toeing  to their room.
  ' stop ' shouted Mrs Lee.
  The two girls turned their back looking so frightened.
  ' hey mum ' jade said with a faint smile on her face.
   ' hey Mrs Lee  ' Charlotte concluded.
   ' Jade I thought I told you not to leave this house ' Mrs Lee said angrily.
  ' mum I had to go see Brandon ' Jade said trying to convince her mum.
  ' so Brandon is more important than your own life ' Mrs Lee included.
  ' mum don't drag Brandon into this, please ' Jade said feeling irritated.
   ' Jade just listen to your mum ' Charlotte added.
  ' shut up, Charlotte I am having a conversation with my daughter, and oh yes I never want to see you with Jade ever again ' Mrs Lee said.
   ' MUM !!!, why do you always try yo ruin my life, I hate you so much and I am never going to speak to you again ' Jade said quickly leaving her mum and Charlotte alone, entering her room angrily.
   ' leave my house ' Mrs Lee said calmly as Charlotte sadly left. Jade was ready to never forgive her mother but instead she continuously hated her.
  Mrs Lee saw that Jade was ready to keep a long time distance with her so she went to her room.
  ' Jade I am sorry okay, sorry for keeping you in here for two days ' Mrs Lee said trying to apologize, knocking on the door.
  'no mum get out, now ' jade yelled.
   ' come on I know you love me my dear so please forgive me ' she said crying.
  Jade opened the door and smiled at her mother. Mrs Lee hugged her and promised to never do that to her again and also she could start school once more.
