Sarah lives in a three bedroom two bathroom house with a pool in the backyard. Her parents were out for the last week of school, which let Sarah have a grand end-of-year,
'populars only' party.

Daniel was invited, but his boyfriend Ben (who Sarah used to have the biggest crush on) was not. So naturally, Daniel insisted he come along with to the party.

They walked in together, immediately submerged in laughter, music and flashing lights. It was too dark to see much but there was a mass of people waving arms and dancing to the beat of the music, colourful cans of beverages in hands.

"Ben!" Sarah rushed over, she was wearing a very short crop top and very short shorts, her hair was done up in a tight fishtail braid that seemed to pull at the skin on her face and her makeup was heavy. A frown crossed her caked face when she saw Ben.

"You brought Ben," she said, straining to keep her voice upbeat, and failing.

"Yeah, I um, I did. . ." Daniel replied, also straining to be upbeat. There was an awkward silence.

"Nice party!" Daniel said trying to avoid making the situation more awkward

"I know right? aren't I the best!" She said, returning to her pitched, annoying voice. Her confidence and self absorbence was sicking.

"Well, come in! Dance, eat, enjoy the party!" She stepped out of the way and gestured for Ben and Daniel to come inside, they walked in and started absorbing  their surroundings more. There was a table full of chips, alcohol and pop just to the left of the purple lit up dance floor.

Ben spotted two people by the drink table, he strutted over, Daniel followed. As they got closer Daniel saw that they were Ty and Gabe. The other two boys that were rumoured to be dating. Ty was a close friend of Ben's, or at least Ben's only friend since he lost so many after the 8th grade, so he naturally became one of Daniels best friends.

Ty was tall and lanky, with thick, silky blonde hair. His eyes were ice blue and his voice like honey, smooth and deep. Gorgeous.

Gabe was shorter but just as skinny, with an oval shaped face. His dark, spiky hair almost looked the same color as his eyes and splatter of freckles against his pale skin. They were like the inverted version of himself and Ben, Daniel thought.

Ben chuckled over something with Ty, Daniel was introducing himself to Gabe when the song changed to a hit dance song on the radio, there was cheering from the crowd. Ty and Gabe met eyes and smiled at each other before running over to the multicoloured dance floor.

Ben laugh as he watch him go, a light laugh that made Daniel's heart smile. Ben then turned to Daniel and shoved a can into his hand, giving him an inviting look to follow Gabe and Ty. Daniel cracked open the can with a smile, took a swig and felt it burn in his throat. They ran over to the dance floor, immediately immersed in the mass of bodies wearing almost nothing, smelling the sweat on the skin being dyed purple and blue and pink by the lights.

Daniel immediately began to sway, Ben smiled and stepped closer, coping him. They stood close enough to feel each other's breath on their faces, feels their arms and legs brush underneath their clothes.

Ben reached out the put a hand on Daniels waist, subtly pulling him closer. Daniel put his hands on Bens shoulders and ran them down his arms, leaning his face as close to the other boys as he could without directing too much attention to them.

Ben opened his mouth against Daniels ear, as if to say something, Daniel shivered and felt hairs on his neck and arms raise.

There was loud cheering. Daniel snapped his head up to see Sarah trying to direct attention back to herself by swinging around a pole by the stairs, obviously very drunk.
Ben scoffed, but then smiled back down at his boyfriend, leaning in to whisper.

"Let's take this back to my car, how about?" His voice was low and raspy, slurred slightly.

"I'm so done with this party." Daniel grinnred, grabbed Ben's hand and started to walk backwards, toward the door.

The car was parked as close to the back as it could be, hidden in the shadows of the trees surrounding Sarah's mansion, but the pounding music could still be heard. The two collided in a kiss as soon as they were hidden, lips smashing, hands running down backs and waists.

Daniel opened the back car doors and laid across the back seat, arms open to hold Ben when he came down on to him. Ben closed the door with the toe of his shoe noiselessly.
Bens mouth moved over Daniels, exploring his lips with his own, pushing Daniel's big, square glasses around with his nose.

He started to move down his throat, Daniel lay his head back and sighed. He pushed his hands up Ben's shirt, feeling the curves of his skin, and grabbed the collar of it. Ben gasped and shuddered, then sat up straight to lift the shirt over his head and throwing it into the front seat.

Daniel stared for a moment before Ben came back down and started pushing at the collar of Daniel's shirt with his lips while Daniel ran his hands over Ben's back and chest, wanting to memorize every curve of every shape. Ben paused to pulls Daniel's shirt off, throwing it away like he did is own before coming back to kiss Daniel's chest and run his hands down his sides.

"Oh.." Daniel moaned, bending his back and grabbing Ben's waist. His legs came up to wrap around the other boy's thighs. As Ben moved his mouth down Daniel, Daniel moved his hands closer down Ben's back, his fingers dipping beneath the waistband of his jeans. Ben sighed and moved more quickly. Daniel moaned again. Sirens blared in the distance.

Daniel's hands came around to Ben's front. Ben moved back up to kiss under his chin. Sirens blared louder. Music from the mansion still pounded.

Ben sucked on the skin of Daniel's neck. Daniel fiddled with the buttons on Ben's jeans with shaking hands. Now? Ben raised his head to mouth at him, excitement dancing in his eyes. Though they've made out plently, they hadn't taken the next step yet. Music pounded. Sirens screamed closer.

Daniel's knuckles brushed Ben's skin of his lower belly. Ben gave a small moan and lifted his head.

And froze.

They both froze.

"What?" Daniel said in a raspy whisper, though Ben barley heard him over the sirens.

"Cops. Sarah's music was too loud. Neighbour's called the cops. Everyone's coming out on the lawn." Ben sounded more and more panicked as he spoke.

Daniel scrambled out of from under Ben, untangling themselves from each other and pulling their shirts back on.

Ben muttered rushed curses under his breath, struggling to get the key in the ignition. Daniel climbed into the passengers seat as Ben started driving out the other side of the house, slipping away from the crashed party.

Ben stopped at Daniel home several minutes later, a modest house not far from Sarah's. Before Daniel got out of the car, he kissed Ben softly and slowly, then said quietly, "Thanks."

Daniel got in his house, and Ben grinned all the way back to his own house.
