"Bruder, take care of Blackie, Berlitz and Aster for me while I'm away."

Prussia lazily opened one eye, staring at Germany with a questioning look on his face. Germany was quickly shoving on his cap and slinging a jacket over one shoulder as he prepared to leave.

"I have urgent business with Italy that I must attend to. I won't make it back for dinner so you can start ahead without me."

With that, he stepped outside and hastily locked the door behind him, running off in the direction of Italy's house. Prussia groaned throwing his legs over the couch and standing up with a back-cracking stretch. He yawned and scrated the back of his head.

Business with Italy my ass. Italy probably just got horny again and asked Germany to "attend to it"

Prussia sighed and sauntered over to the kitchen, where he grabbed a beer from the fridge. Downing it in one gulp, he tried to crush the can against his head, as he'd seen 'awesome' people do, and instead yelped in pain as it collided painfully against his forehread.

"Scheiße!"

He kicked the can away in annoyance and proceeded to the garden. Sunlight blinded him and he winced and his eyes adjusted to the sudden light. The sun had reached the highest point in the sky, shining down brightly on the garden. Three dogs lay resting under the shade of the large oak tree that stood in the middle of the garden. Bringing his fingers to his lips, Prussia gave a shrill whistle which brought the dogs scrambling over. They sat eargerly in front of him, their tails like windmills. Despite the heat, he figured that it would be a good time to go for a walk.

Why did I ever think this was a good idea? Dummkompf! Prussia panted heavily, his steps sluggish and his body soaked with sweat. Heat rose from the pavement in dizzying waves and he struggle to keep up with the dogs, whom were undeterred by the scorching heat. He struggled to remember how many hours had passed since he'd left the house by judging by the position of the sun, he reckoned it had only been two hours. Where am I?

He saw movement in the far distance and squinted against the light in an attempt to focus better. He could make out long brown hair which indicated a female and she seemed to hold something in her hand. His eyes widened in fear as he realised it was none other than Hungary and she was coming right at him, frying pan swinging dangerously in the air. Prussia turned to run but it was already to late. With a loud battle cry, Hungary pounced on him, poising the pan over his head, building up strength for a blow.

"Wait no! HUNGA-"

Prussia was cut off with a loud cry as the pan came down and stopped inches above his nose. His breath came out in scared, short puffs as he stared at the pan. Suddenly, a weight lifted off of him as Hungary stood up off his body. He breathed a sigh of relief as the pan moved away and he propped himself up on his elbows. Hungary loomed over him, her eyes a blazing emerald as she glared at him.

"What are your intentions in coming here? Well? Speak up before I send you back home with a dent in your head!"

Angered, Prussia shot up and leaned into her face. She flinched, jutting out her chin and staring him in the eye.

"All I'm doing is passing through you tomboyish bitch!"

"Arrogant bastard! Who do you think you are?"

With that, Hungary swung her pan at Prussia. He lightly sidestepped the blow and returned with a punch, berating himself for not bringing his gun. Like Prussia, Hungary easily dodged the blow and they continued to exchange blows. An hour later, they both lay panting on the pavement, equally beaten up by the other. By now the was slowly relinquishing its hold on the sky, dragging its reddened hues along with it. Clouds like candyfloss littered the sky and Prussia watched as they slowly floated along.

"Hey Prussia, Prussia look at that cloud! What do you see in it?"

Before he could reply, Hungary was already answering it with her own opinion.

"I see me, standing triumphantly over the bloodied bodies of my foes. All the ones that dared to approach Austria and even lay a finger on his delicate head."

Prussia shivered Hungary's bloodthirsty vision and instead wondered what he saw. The clouds began to take shape in his eyes and with a curve here and a line there, he had found a hidden object. He felt the blood rush to his cheeks as he realised what he had conjured.

"Oi! Prussia, I asked what you saw."

Hungary raised an eyebrow as she noticed Prussia's flushed cheeks. He stuck his tongue out at her, explaining that his cheeks were red only because he was so hot with awesomeness. Hungary snorted and rolled her eyes. No way was that Hungary's face. I myst be seeing thingsPrussia thought. He glanced at Hungary from the corner of his eye and was surprised to see her staring at him too. Her face held no expression and he felt embarassed to be the only one getting a little flustered as she stared at him with such intensity.

"W-what? Am I that cool?"

She didn't respond, merely directing her gaze back at the sky. Annoyance flared in him but he brushed it off, not wanting to ruin such a peaceful moment. Hungary suddenly stood up and without a word, walked away.

"Hey! Where're you going?"

"Home. I've got better things to do than laze around like you."

Despite the insulting remark, her voice held no venom and he was surprised when she gave him a backhand wave. He automatically waved back, speechless and wide-eyed as he watched her disappear over the setting sun, her hair a fiery red in it's glow.
