The sunlight blinded me as I opened my eyes and yawned. It was 8:30 AM. I had dance at 12:55. I got out of bed and went to the bathroom. I turned on the water. It trailed down my back. It was so warm.
I started humming to Save Me. It was a really good song. "I need your love before I fall, fall." But right when I finished the song, disaster struck. The door was unlocked.
And guess who came in? Suga. I shrieked loudly. His eyes widened and turned cherry red and ran out of the door. "HOLY $#%&!" I heard him yell. My face was hot and my heart was racing. That was so awkward. That was the most embarrassing moment of my life. I will never be able to face him ever again, especially after what just happened.
When I got out if the shower, I put on leggings and a tank top. I walked down the stairs in embarrassment. Even the smell of bacon couldn't get my mind off of what just happened. "Good morning." I fake smiled. "Hey why is your face so red?" Jimin asked. "Um, the shower was hot." I fibbed. Jimin nodded.
"Anyway, why were you cursing Suga? You yelled so loud." Jin laughed. "I uhh tripped." Suga stammered. "I have bacon!" Jungkook yelled from the kitchen. He came out with 8 plates of bacon.
I had to admit, I would hire Kookie to cook for me. The bacon smelled like heaven. V came to the table. "Hello people~" he said. "Yo." I replied. "What time is it?" V asked. I looked at the clock and slapped myself. "Oh crap I gotta go to dance." I cursed. "I'll drive you." Jimin offered. "Thank you so much Jiminnie!" I felt grateful.
*15 minutes later*
"Thanks!" I yelled as Jimin drove away. I ran into the studio. I sighed. Just on time. The kids started filling in the studio.
"Hello kids. Today we'll be learning a new dance today. We're doing a song called So Dangerous by Up10tion." I smiled. The girls widened their eyes and squealed.
"As some kids know, it's a complicated dance." I said. A few kids groaned. But some kids were excited for a challenge. "First, we'll listen to the song first." I said.
*2 hours later*
I sit down panting as I open my water bottle. The other kids sat down and drank water also. I wiped the sweat from my brow. "Well kids, you did very well." I smiled. For a bunch of 12 year olds, they were good. Well, I did teach them since they were 7 years old.
"Okay kids, I'll see you guys next Friday!" I waved goodbye to the kids as they left with their parents. I pulled out my phone and punch in Jimin's number. "Hello~ this is Jiminnie. I might be busy, send a message after the beep." Ugh. Voicemail. I knew that pretty much every member was busy and the only member home was...Suga.
No! I can't do it after what happened this morning. It would be too awkward! But then it would take so long to walk home...
I then made the worst choice. Walking home.
*30 minutes later*
I absolutely regretted that decision. I felt blisters, it was hot, I ran out of water and I was exhausted from dancing still. My house was just two minutes away. I could live. I think.
There was no breeze or a single cloud. My feet were absolutely aching and my throat was so dry. And then I realized my keys were upstairs. In my room. I peeked into the window and saw Suga laying on the couch watching TV.
I breathed in and rang the doorbell. Suga finally got up and opened the door. "Thank you!" I breathed. I ran to the kitchen and took a can of Pepsi and chugged it down. I closed my eyes and felt the air conditioning relax me.
"Why didn't you ask me to drive you home?" Suga asked suddenly. My eyes flew open. "...Because I felt awkward about asking you." I admitted sheepishly. "Look, I'm sorry for what happened this morning." He apologized. "Er, it's okay." I said.
I went up to my room and changed out of my dance clothes into something more comfy. Just then the door rang.
I ran down the stairs before Suga even got up. I opened the door and greeted the guys. "Hey guys!" I grinned. They all said hey back. "Jiminnie how was your day?" I asked. "Pretty good. Except when Kookie tripped me." He glared at Kookie. Jungkookie stifled a giggle. "Today, I taught the kids a new dance." The guys looked confused based on their faces.
"Haneul is a dance instructor for tweens. She's taught this class for five years." Jimin explained. "That's pretty impressive." Said V. "They're really good dancers." I felt proud of my students right now. "You must be pretty proud to have those students." Jin said. I nodded.
"Anyway, dinner's on me." I announced. Then, I ushered them to the living room while I cook. I cracked my knuckles and said,"Time to work my magic."
*25 minutes of *
I placed the final dish on the table and announced," Voilà!" At the sound of my voice, they came running to the table. "Jimin! You're so lucky~ I bet Haneul makes this delicious dinner for you everyday!" Jin pouted. "She does." Jimin said smugly.
They ate like barbarians. We were eating and chatting here and there. "Hey Haneul. Did you hear about this new girl groups that BigHit is creating. Kinda like a sister group of BTS?"
"Really? That's cool." I replied. "But that's not the best part. They're holding auditions for members at Haru Park. You should really try out. A scout will be there watching." Jiminnie said excitedly.
"I guess I'll try out. But I'm afraid. There are so many more prettier and talented girls auditioning." I panicked. "Don't worry. You got this in the bag, Haneul. You've danced for over five years." Jimin smiled at me. "Okay. I will." Everyone cheered.
