Ophelia Pines had never been out of the small town she grew up in, so when her parents told her that they would be moving to Forks her anxiety was over the roof.

Not only was she homeschooled all of her life, but she was incredibly shy and timid when meeting new people. Part of this was because she struggled in controlling her anxiety. The slightest thing could make her anxious. The thought of moving miles away and having to start over was not something she wanted in the slightest, but she didn't want to disappoint her parents.

Her parents were very busy people. Either always gone for business trips or stuck in their office doing papers. The only time they really paid attention to Ophelia was when her tutor said something about how well her grades are or when Ophelia needed a refill for her anxiety medication. Other than that Ophelia was on her own with anything else. So when her parents started talking to her about how excited they are to move for better business opportunities Ophelia knew she couldn't screw this up.

When they arrived in the small town of Forks Ophelia immediately fell in love with the weather and the forest surrounding it. Noticing the forest would start being a main factor in her notebook that she likes to sketch in. She even liked the house her parents had picked out. It wasn't as flashy as her old home, but she loved how simple it was. With a light grey exterior and white trim. Maybe she would like it here after all.

But one thing her parents had failed to mention was that she was going to be going to a public school. Not that she had anything against public schooling, but she knew she wouldn't fit in. She even asked her parents to keep her in home schooling, but they denied her of her wish saying that she was already enrolled and will start school the next morning.
