Kone and Onion // Noodles

Chapter 2 - I'm Not For Eating!

Kone and Onion had been walking for ages
They hadn't seen a shed, only some mages
After awhile, Kone asked, "Are you sure we're heading west?"
"Oh I thought you meant west as in east!" Replied Onion, "Ok let's go west"
Kone glared at Onion, then punched him

The pair ran all the way back to Pillowham
But no one was there, no even a lamb
"Where has everyone gone?" Asked Kone
They looked around, and they knew they were alone
In the back of their minds, they knew it was the noodles

Kone and Onion looked around until they saw a troll they knew
The troll swung his club, attempting to split Onion in two
"You be an Onion!" The troll licked his lips, "I like onion!"
"I'm not for eating!" Screamed Onion
"Hey I remember you guys!" Said the troll, "Give me your skin!"

Onion floated back away from the troll
The trolls eyes were as black as coal
"Have you seen anyone suspicious around here?" Asked Kone
"I might have," replied the troll, anger shown
"I'll tell you if you lemme eat Onion."

Onion disagreed immediately, but Kone was considering it
Onion protested, just before Kone was going to commit
"You're not seriously considering this," squealed Onion, "Are you?"
The troll cleaned his teeth, getting ready to chew
Kone rubbed his chin thoughtfully, "Hmm..."

The troll licked his lips once more. "Do we have a deal?"
He started clenching and unclenching his jaw, getting ready for his meal
A few seconds went past. "Ok," replied Kone
Onion sulked and let out a moan
"I saw Noodles tying up the townspeople and taking them away," said the troll

"Can you tell us anything else?" Kone asked
"There were people helping him," replied the troll, "all of them masked."
Kone rubbed his chin again. "Where did they go?"
"In that direction," the troll pointed, "why, I do not know"
Kone walked off in the direction that the troll pointed, while Onion shuffled over to the troll
