The Girl In The Closet

Chapter 4

"You live here?!" I said

"Yeah i do." She replied while sitting on the floor. I sat across from her

"Why here? Where is your family?" I asked

She sighed "My family died... in a fire, at this house" She said while looking at the ceiling.

"Oh i'm really sorry for you" I said "My name is Lexi, Lexi Moon" I said while offering my hand, she looked at my hand then took it in her hand "Aya. Just Aya" She said

"You don't have a last name?" I asked

"Well i'm sure i did, I just don't remember it" She said while pulling her hand back

"What about Violet?" I said while pointing at the violet streaks in her hair.

"Aya Violet...I like it!" She said while smiling at me.

We sat there awhile looking around before I decided to go home.

"Its getting dark out... I think i should go home" I said

"Oh...Okay" She said while standing up

"Maybe i can see you again tomorrow?" I asked

She nodded and smiled "See ya Lexi" She said while I walked out

"Bye Violet" I waved and walked back through the long grass.

I reached the end of the road and looked back at the house before leaving to my own house.

'Hey Lex where were ya?" My dad asked

"I was just outside" I said while hanging up my coat

"Okay well i think you should get some sleep, we have stuff to do tomorrow!" He said while patting my head, "Night dad" I said while walking up the stairs

"Going to sleep already?" My mom asked while walking out of her room with a laundry bin in her hands

"Yeah, dad says we have stuff to do tomorrow" I said

"Okay well have a good sleep" She said while kissing my forehead.

I walked into my room and put on pajamas then laid down in my bed and turned off the lights.

I looked over at the the picture of Luna and smiled.Luna was such a pretty girl and even though we were twins i always thought she was prettier and cooler than me, and i miss her so much I thought to myself before closing me eyes and falling asleep.

Sometime around 2 am someone came in the room and told me to wake up, I was confused so i got up and looked around and i didn't see anything but my door half open so I stood up to close it but before I could my door slammed itself shut and locked.

"Whats going on?" I said while pulling on my door.

Lightning crashed from outside of my window and the thunder shook the house, I could hear quiet knocking and i turned around to see my drawers opening slightly with tapping coming from it, blood dripped from the ceiling and stained my white carpet and to top it all off there was crying.. Of a little girl... Slowly i turned around to my huge walk in closet and then i saw it...

My sister...Luna Moon. her pretty white top shirt was covered in blood with 3 large scratches on her stomach just like the ones on the power box and blood dripped from them, her face was dull and grey and one of her eyes was pitch black with tears coming out of it, the black skirt she wore was ripped and the white socks were stained with blood, her eyes weren't a beautiful blue color they were dark and grey and her hair was messy and cut short.

Teardrops formed in my eyes as i stepped closer to her and put my hand out "L-Luna?" I said

She looked up at me with an emotionless face before saying "You did this to me Lexi, I will never forgive you" Her voice was dark and deep. I reached out to grab her hand but before I could she disappeared and I fell over onto the blood stained floor in my closet with tears falling out of my eyes

"I love you Luna...Please come back" I cried until i felt nothing but the darkness and loneliness and drifted off to sleep.

"Lexi! Lexi!" I voice called out to me. I opened my eyes to find myself on the closet floor with the blood stains around me and my mom shaking me

"Hi mom" I said while getting up and rubbing my eyes

"Are you okay?!" She asked while holding my shoulders

"Yeah why?" I lied

'How could i be okay when i just saw my own dead sister?' I thought to myself

"Because you were on the floor with blood around you!" She shrieked

"Ah yes maybe I was sleepwalking" I said

"But Lexi you don't sleepwalk"

"You know what? I'm hungry" I said while standing up and trying to avoid the topic

"Okay what would you like for breakfast?" She asked

"Hm..Maybe some French Toast?" I said

"Sure thing just go get washed up" She said while throwing a towel at my face

"Thanks mom" I Said while she left the room and shut the door

I went into my dresser and took out a white shirt with red sleeves and a black pair of leggings and a black hoodie with an alien face on it then took my towel and went into the bathroom.

When i turned on the lights i noticed that the bathtub was full of water so i went to go drain it before my shower.

Carefully i took the plug out of the bathtub and watched the water drain slowly.

I had a bit of blood on my head from falling into it last night.

My reflection waved slowly because of the water movement but suddenly it started to wave faster until I couldn't see my reflection any more, then when it stopped I looked down at the water... and my reflection wasn't staring back at me. Instead my reflection faced the wall and as the head slowly turned around I saw the face I saw In the closet, the lights flickered,the teeth were stained in blood and the eyes were red and dark.

It opened its mouth and a loud high pitched sound came out that made my ears ring, Fire surrounded the "thing" and It held a match, then it stopped and once again I saw my own reflection as the water finished draining.

After that I ignored what I saw and took a shower.

After my shower I walked downstairs into the kitchen and looked at the table, there was food on a plate across from my parents.

"Thanks mom!" I said while picking up my fork and eating.

"So Lex" My dad said

"Yeah?" I said after swallowing my food

"We have been worried about you... You've been acting strange since we got here" My mom said

"I'm fine mom just not used to things here yet" I lied

"Oh okay we just want you to be happy here" My dad said

"Dont worry dad i'm fine I promise" I lied again while finishing up my plate

'At Least I think i am' I thought to myself as i put away my plate and headed back to my room
